I think the problem of broken carriages is caused by the ink cartridges being inserted improperly. Be very careful and hold on to the carriage bar when inserting a cartridge, don't jam it in.

I think you should contact with manufacturer...

When i try to uninstall my lexmark x1190 it comes up printing not finished

Try to clear the Lexmark print queue from pending/stuck print jobs so you can successfully uninstall the Lexmark software/ printer driver. Here's how:
  1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the print spooler service)
  2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files.
  3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the print spooler service)
After successfully clearing the print queue, uninstall the printer software by going to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark 1100 Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. Reboot your pc when prompted.
Hope this helps.

When printing, the blue color is missing

Make sure your print cartridges have enough ink in them for printing.
Print quality issues could be due to dirty or clogged print cartridge nozzles. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem:
Using the Lexmark Solution Center:
  1. Click Start > Programs > Lexmark X6100 Series > Lexmark X6100 Series All-In-One Center.
  2. From the Maintenance tab, click Clean to fix horizontal streaks.
  3. Click Print. A nozzle page prints, forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the clogged nozzles.
  4. Print your document again to verify that your print quality has improved.
If the problem continues, try to insert a different known working color cartrdidge or better yet replace it with a new genuine Lexmark cartridge.
If that doesn't help, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Carriage swings from one side to other

Remove the cartridges from the printer. Close the cover. Unplug the printer from the power source. Wait for about 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in. Once the printer's ready, re-insert the cartridges. Close the cover. It should try to print an alignment page. Let it print the page all the way through without cancelling it. If carrier is not slamming to the sides anymore, problem's resolved. But, when after re-inserting the cartridges and the printer tries to print the alignment and still slamming the carrier to the sides, that sounds more like a mechanical problem and needs to be replaced. If your printer is still within warranty, you can call Lexmark. They might send you a replacement. Good luck!

Lexmark x1190 new cartridges but cannot print in black. Checked tape was removed and cleaned heads

Forgive me for asking this, but roughly speaking about 80 to 95% of problems involving ink or toner are resolved by the following:
Are you using a factory new ink cartridge supplied by the manufacturer of the printer?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.

Lexmark z23 cartridge banging

Unfortunately, this is a known problem with Lexmark printers. First, try turning the printer upside down and shaking it - it's been known to work. If it didn't help, try cleaning the parts with alcohol solution. Wipe everything inside including the top strip, the metal bar and then pull the ink cartriges out and wipe the copper and the actual cartrige too. And to finish it, hit the side of the printer a couple of times.
