I believe that you have problem with fluctuatin of voltage in Line. Will be a Good idea to install a Stabilizer Voltage in line for to control of Heater , and to keep safe the control board. All the machine will be expose to this fluctuation.
God bless you

Error c4-15 what does that mean

Before calling service technician, copy following link for troubleshoot resources:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Rheem-Tankless-water-heater.html

C4 can range from failed PC Board to lime build-up inside heat exchanger
Error 15 is 'heat exchanger is too hot', clogged heat exchanger, restriction in cold water inlet, temperature set point too high.
If you recently changed temperature setting, then that might be cause.
Tankless require monthy-to-yearly maintenance to avoid common error codes.
Delime tankless and clean water filter, keep temperature low.
Never install tankless water heater is best way to avoid complications of expensive water heater that is maintenance heavy, hard to diagnose, expensive to fix, etc.
Never expose tankless to more than 11 grains hard water.

I have a paloma PTG 74PVP-2, error codes C2 14 flashing?

Before calling service technician, or Rheem, copy following link for troubleshoot resources:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Rheem-Tankless-water-heater.html

Error 14 is low manifold pressure, cracked heat exchanger, restricted air flow.
C2 can be dirty combustion parts, bad gas solenoid valve, bad circuit board.

Combination of these two error codes implies possible PC board failure, which is similar to failed motherboard on computer.
Suggest that service technician perform the required yearly maintenance to see it that fixes error code.

I have a Model PH-28ROFN. The control pad reads 120 as it always has. When I turn on the faucet the code C2 11 flashs in sequence. No hot water is available. Any ideas please. Jerry Averill

Before calling service technician, Open following link for troubleshoot resources:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Rheem-Tankless-water-heater.html

C2 11 is no ignition.
Do-it-yourself solution can include: clean burner parts and combustion chamber, clean air intake, realign igniter and sand carbon off igniter.
Other causes can be combination of factors.
Factors including improper grounding, incorrect outlet polarity, bad igniter, bad gas solenoid, low gas pressure, wrong gas, gas valve partially shut off, air in gas line, bad venting, loose wiring, bad sensor, bad PC-board, etc.

The product manual recommends yearly service.
Yearly service should include checking/testing each item mentioned above, plus checking that temperature is not set too high for volume of water used, checking for water softener, plus checking if acidic vent condensate is correctly flowing into household drain and eventually out to sea instead of dripping into heat exchanger causing expensive alloy to rust, crack and fail.
Other periodic maintenance includes de-liming the heat exchanger yearly, and cleaning water filter monthly.

Repair most tankless problems yourself, same day, all brands for $350.

I have had my Rinnai tankless for about 8 years without problems. Recently I am noticing that the water temperature is fluctuating from the set temperature to a cooler temp and then back up to the set...

The Rinnai will shut off it can't maintain the temperature you have set to within +/- 3 degs so I'd guess that might be the problem. The cause can be a few options. Check water flow first; any filters you have in tapware, main water flow etc. get cleaned. The Rinnai has a water line filter in the incoming supply, middle pipe under the heater just after the isolating valve. Gas supply could be the other option mainly being a possible intermittent fault in the gas regulator. Hard to check this one short of just changing it. Final option is some sort of electronic malfunction, pretty rare. I'd start with the water flow issue as you can do this yourself. Checking the gas will need a good technician with digital gas pressure guage to check incoming and working gas pressures; it might just need to be recalibrated. Just hasd a thought about the heat exchanger being scaled up if you are in an arera where water scale is a problem but this would normally take far less than 8 years to be a problem. Sorry can't be of more help; hard when it might be a few different causes.

I am not getting any hot water, only cold water, when I run my hot water taps. I have an Ariston Bravo water heater. Normally I have permanent hot water at any time. My central heating seems to be...

Sounds like the by-pass valve diaphragm. This valve detects that hot water is being drawn off at the tap and then diverts the mains input water across the heat exchanger. Very often it's the diaphragm inside the valve which is punctured or split. This can be replaced [depending on model] if you take apart the valve
. Remove the front panel and lower the control panel. The valve is at the bottom left of the boiler
Suggest turning off the service taps to the two heating pipes and the cold mains inlet pipes before tackling the valve

Vaillant echoplus 837, leaking diverter valve

Replace valve or if it has the usual diaphragm inside remove valve and replace washer/diaphragm
To prevent water draining from the whole system, turn off the taps on the heating pipes located just below the boiler AND the cold mains inlet

Leaking pressure relief valve

what is the water pressure on the cold side? You may need to install a pressure reducing valve at the water heater inlet to reduce inlet pressure and keep pop off valve from opening when not needed.

AO Smith water heater about 4 years old pilot went out took out piolt assembly cleaned and was able to relight pilot unit stayed working for about 2 weeks and went out again any ideas?

It sounds like your flame detector (usually a thermocouple) has gotten weak and when you cleaned the pilot the stronger flame was able to generate enough power to keep the gas valve working. If you replace the thermocouple your problem should go away. If a new thermocouple will not keep the gas valve operating...the coil in the gas valve has gone bad and you will need to replace the gas valve assembly. (most valves do not have replaceable coils).
