There can be design issues or the board does not perform to the condition it is exposed. You can ask for extended warranty on the board and clarify for the failure . Also check for moisture within, check your voltage, check the power sockets.

f13 is a problem with the door lock, I have the same machine and it takes 4 minutes for the door latch to open and if it dont in the 4 minutes F13 comes up and the machine will go off and not start again.

F7 in whirlpools means "Clean the filter”.
The following troubleshooting steps would help fix it. Remove the filter on the floor of the machine, including the metal grill. Press & hold the start button (like you do when you want to cancel a program this will drain the water out of your clogged up drain outlet. Clean your filter and grill and replace it. My guess is that the sensor in the drain (a little glass tube) measures whether the water going out is clean enough to decide that your dishes are now rinsed correctly. If your filters clogged, the water going down the drain is still dirty. After a while it gets sick of trying and stops the machine.
