I have a HEL p-6 code on a xmt 304 how do I fix it

Sounds like a input power problem . Make sure voltage is correct coming to the unit and wired correctly. I checked a Miller welder recently ,auto link that would come on and weld but not good . Took cover off and it was wired wrong .

Have a Miller Dynasty 300 that won't tig weld, displays HELP 12 code. Suggestions??

Some welders have a resistor that is obvious and accessible but to give an error code it is likely something else inside. You'll have to look at the circuit board for a component that is burned. If you are lucky you will find a fuse.

I have a miller wildcat welding/ generator and the problem is that when I start the generator, it runs for a few minutes and then automatically shuts off. Whats the problem?

Hi:
The most common problem is the oil pressure switch. First make sure your machine has the oil up to the level line. If oil level is ok, then order the oil pressure switch and change it. If neither of these two actions cure the problem then send it in to be inspected by an authorized service mechanic.

Good luck

Miller dynasty 200 fan not running at all I have the cover off is there a way i can jumper the fan to always run? This fan uses 15 volts dc. can i jumper the temp sensor

If you have power on the input side of the temp sensor and no power out yes you can jumper the temp sensor. You should also be able to test the temp sensor with a match. Un-mount it, then heat it until it clicks and check for continuity. (Remount when complete) If you have continuity with applied heat the problem is not the temp sensor. It could be a fan relay problem.
If your sure you want to bypass normal fan power, I would look for the power source for the fan on the welder's schematic and then run a seperate in-line FUSED power lead to the fan and then ground the other side to the chassis. Make sure the source you choose has enough amperage to power the fan. Some places on the main board if you tap 15VDC you can damage the main board.

I have a miller dynasty inverter tig welder   It has a help code that comes on when I turn it on the code is p-2

From the user manual for a generic dynasty model welder:
2 Help 2 Display
Indicates an open in the thermal protection
circuitry located on the left side of the unit.
Contact a Factory Authorized Service
Agent if this display is shown.

So you could have anything from a broken or disconnected wire to a bad thermal switch.

You can get user manuals specific to your welder at www.millerwelds.com
