Question about OKI C5800Ldn Led Printer
If you have replaced the K cartridge, and it still gives you this message, it is due to the sensor bieng blocked or bad. Take out your K cartridge, clean out any loose toner. Do not blow it back into the unit. Use a cotton pad or cloth to clean it out. Then you have to clen the sensor itself. it is recessed on the right wall of the unit ,across where the K cartridge sits. Here is where you have to purchase a can of compressed air and shoot it into the opening with the plastic straw that comes with the can air.. (Again, do not blow air all over the inside of the unit!!) Just shoot it in the opening to clean the sensor LED.
This is a common problem caused by toner spills.
If I could be of further assistance let me know, Otherwise please rate this solution. Thanks,Joe
