Question about Computers & Internet
Hi, A couple of things you can try: 1. In your Device Manager, expand your Networking Adapter, right click on your WiFi and click on enable; 2. Some notebook/laptop models have a hard swtich on either the side or the front to activate the radio of the WiFi; 3. Verify that your WiFi drivers are installed and that it has no red or yellow markings (Device Manager); 4. If you are using plug-in (USB or PCM card), verify that they are plugged in snugly.

I have a similar problem. Two weeks ago suddenly my WLANappears as disable! It doesn't appear in the device manager and once (of the many times) that I reinstalled the driver it said the WLAN adaptor cannot be enble from windows (vista) and it should be done through the BIOS (which has no option to do so). I have a HP Pavillion 1320 us. PS: HP just sent me a new wireless card and it is the same. :-( firstname.lastname@example.org
