My Vaio laptop was connecting to WLAN until few days ago but suddenly it has stopped working. When I start the laptop, WLAN light comes-up but as soon it tries to connect to network, the light goes off and the network adapter gets disabled. After enabling it, message comes to switch-on the wireless n/w button (which is already switched-on), and switching it on-off doesn't make any difference.

Hi,

A couple of things you can try:
1. In your Device Manager, expand your Networking Adapter, right click on your WiFi and click on enable;
2. Some notebook/laptop models have a hard swtich on either the side or the front to activate the radio of the WiFi;
3. Verify that your WiFi drivers are installed and that it has no red or yellow markings (Device Manager);
4. If you are using plug-in (USB or PCM card), verify that they are plugged in snugly.
