Does the vt6421a have a driver compatible with windows 7?

According to VIA's website which just happened to be the first result on Google, the chipset has support for SATA, IDE and RAID built-in to Windows 7. So that would seem to confirm that it does, which I would imagine you've already worked out by now. Also you've probably worked out that it sucks and it's basically just software RAID except with added proprietary technology to ensure that your data becomes completely unrecoverable in the event of some hideous disaster such as using a VIA storage chipset.

How can i find wheretoplug the on off botton in a epia ml6000 ea motherboard

I noticed this is a very small motherboard, so the control panel conector may be not identified. I just see a 16 pin conector by the lower left corner, below RAM bank and among IDE conectors and PCI slot. Try to short those pins and see if it powers on. You may begin by pins 1 and2, etc. The pin 15 should be where one is missing.
Thanks

I formatted my hd making it slave in other system: now i m placing it back on my system then it is saying Primary IDE masterNONE; Primary IDE Slave SP0822N Then comes NTLDR MISSING

> formatted my HD

This deleted 99% of the files on the disk-drive.

> Primary IDE Master: NONE
> Primary IDE Slave: SP0822N

Good. Your motherboard has detected ONE disk-drive.

Do you have just one connected disk-drive on your PRIMARY channel, or do you have two connected disk-drives (via the 2 connectors on the one ribbon-cable on the PRIMARY channel) ?

If you have two drives connected via one ribbon-cable, you MUST set the 'master/slave/cable-select' jumpers on BOTH disk-drives, to identify which of the two will be the 'master' and which will be the 'slave'.

Also, check that the 'second' disk-drive is getting electrical power.

> NTLDR MISSING

Like I said, you deleted 99% of the files, including the 'NTLDR' file.
Your computer is trying to "boot" from the 1% of the files that still exist on the disk-drive, but cannot find the now-deleted file.
Perfectly normal, given that you have formatted the disk.

Aopen mx36le-un motherboard replaced

If your HD is connected via IDE (a wide, flat cable) try reversing it. If not, go into the bios and make sure that your SATA ports are enabled, all IDE functions etc.
If not, your drive could be fried. If you have another computer to test the drive in, that would be handy.

Faulty DFL-700 image - missing FWCore.cfg

Possible problems:
1. IDE Flash device is damaged
2. IDE controller is damaged
2. Firmware is corrupt

Try and download the firmware, and install. You should then get a better idea if the IDE device or controller is bad if it won't install or see the device.
