The LED flashes, but the lights won't come on. Do I need to install a light shield. The sensor is mounted in a well shaded area 10 to 12 feet above ground. There are landscape lights beneath the sensor are 7 watt. The unit was working Okay until I had to turn off the wired controll switch because the lights were coming on during the day while I was working in its path. Gary

If disrupting the power causes it to reset, then how do you fix that issue so they work again, just bought a house that has them on it and the red light is blinking but no light at night

I had what I think is the same problem. The lights, which had been working fine, stopped coming on, even though the red led would flash three times when the motion detector detected movement. All I did was switch it to "test" and then back to a timed setting, seemed to resolve the issue.

For what it's worth!

There are settings on the sensor itself. Should be a dusk to dawn setting that will keep it off during those times and then function at night. as far as not working I would first suggest setting the sensitivity. Disrupting to power could have reset this.

How do I realign the sensors?

Both sensors will have their green led lights lit (on) when aligned. When not aligned only one sensor will be lit.

Make sure both sensors' lens are clean.

If still not aligned loosen the lit sensor from its mounting bracket using the proper tool, but most LiftMasters have a wing nut mounting for the sensors.

Aim the free sensor in the direction of the unlit one and look for its led to light. If necessary, using a screw driver remove the staples securing the sensor wiring enough to physically place the sensors eye ball to eye ball looking for the unlit sensor to light. If the unlit sensor still won't light then there is a broken or pinched wires some where between the unlit sensor and the garage door opener.

MY ABS AND BRAKE LIGHTS STAY ON . ALSO MY SPEEDOMETER WONT MOVE UNTIL YOUR GOING ABOUT 30 MPH. WHATS THE PROBLEM

This is most likely the rear wheel speed sensor, which is located on top of the differential housing.
Mopar part number is 05032220AA and is $18 Online at http://dodgeparts.mopar.com
(A graphic illustration can be found there too.)
I experienced the exact same problems on my 99 Dakota, and a new sensor fixed all the symptoms.
First I tried an aftermarket sensor from one of the chains, but it just did not fit right. Ended up buying one from Dodge, which popped right in. Take note on how the old sensor is situated before removal. Be careful when you remove the old sensor, slowly pry/wiggle it out. Take your time, you do not want it to brake and have debris fall into your differential. When you install the new one, lube the O-ring with Diff. fluid to ease it in.

From Dodge service manual:
Removal:
(1) Raise vehicle on hoist
(2) Remove brake line mounting nut and remove the brake line from sensor stud
(3) Remove mounting stud from sensor and shield
(4) Remove sensor and shield from differential housing.
(5) Disconnect sensor wire harness and remove sensor

Installation:
(1) Connect harness to sensor. Be sure seal is securely in place between sensor and wiring connector.
(2) Install O-ring on sensor (if removed)
(3) Insert sensor in differential housing
(4) Install sensor shield
(5) Install the sensor mounting stud and tighten to 24 N-m (200 in. lbs.)
(6) Install brake line on sensor stud and install nut
(7) Lower vehicle

I am no mechanic by any means, but it took me about 15 minutes to fix.
Good luck

Standby LED flashes red 4 times with pause then 4 times

You either have a bad fan or one of the rotation sensors mounted on one of the fans has failed. Take the back off the set and see it the main fan slightly right of center is rotating. If it is, there are two more fans, one mounted right above the lamp and another on the optical block itself. You will have to pull the optical block to check those.
