Your sound driver is available here : http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2766&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21
Make sure you uninstall any drivers marked with a yellow ! or ? in the device manager listed under sound devices or other devices first.
you can get there by clicking on CONTROL PANEL-DOUBLE CLICK SYSTEM- SELECT THE "HARDWARE" TABat the top-THEN CLICK ON DEVICE MANAGER. DOWNLOAD
download the audio or sound driver to your desktop (so you can find it) double click on the desktop icon to start the install, restart the computer..
Regards..

SOURCE: Audio problem

Now, you have cleared that it's not a software problem (I assume that only one speaker works in all applications/games) , so it's mechanical. Either the speaker is unplugged, the cable is damaged or in worst case the speaker died.

DVD/CD RW

Hi there
Is this problem with windows media player only or with rest players also.
You try to repair your media player using your XP installation CD and then install a good codec pack such as XP codec pack or K-Lite codec pack. These are available for free .
Hope this works for you.

Waiting for your thanks.

Find sound drivers for windows service pack 3 pc help me how to install

Can you find and enter the manufacturer and model of the desktop PC in question? (probably on the computer case) Also can you identify the version of Windows that you are running (3.1, 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista, etc). Listing anything you already know about the sound card would also help.

Thanks
