SOURCE: No Heat with new White Rodgers 1f85rf-275 Thermostat

The only way to resolve this problem and to distingush if its a thermostat issue on the system is to by pass the thermostat by putting a jumper between the hotwire and the heating wire if the system did run which happen most of the time. Call the HVAC technician to check your heating unit. Or call the White- Rodgers technical line at 18887259797 choose contrator division.

SOURCE: The heater doesn't warm up

if the tempature gauge reads normal warm the vehicle up and feel the heater hoses wich are located on the right side of the vehicle if one is alot warmer than the other you probaly have a plugged heater core remove the hoses and take the hoses off and run a hose through one of the hoses until it comes out clear. it could also be just low coolant and topping off the coolant could solve this problem temporaily but if it is low it is leaking.

SOURCE: I have an inncom thermostat in my room, and it

if you set the t stat in VIP mode you can operate the fan manually but you shouldnt have to do this. it sounds like the t stat is losing communicatio with the HVAC reciever board.

My Cozy Wall Heater won't turn off! Even when the thermostat is in the off position it just keeps running. I need to physically turn off the gas supply to get it to stop. When it turn it back on i need to...

If the unit has a wall thermostat, remove one of the wires from the thermostat. If the unit stops it indicates a bad thermostat. If it continues to heat, remove one of the wires coming from the thermostat going to the gas valve inside the heater. If it continues to heat you have a bad gas valve. If the heater shuts off, you have a bad thermostat wire (short).

Heat pump that just blows cool air

is the condenser operating? what is the outdoor temperature? A heat pump is a cooling system with a reverse gear, most reversing valves which make this possible fail to the heat mode so it is not likely to be the problem. You should have either gas or electric back-up heat. If you switch to emergency heat do you get warm air? Really need to find out more to make an informed guess at your problem, the simple stupid would be is the circuit breaker to the condensing unit possibly tripped or shut off?

Thermostat says ''Aux heat on'' and buzzes when we turn on heat

You most likely have a heat pump, the aux heat (usually electric) comes on anytime the room temperature is 4 degrees below the thermostat setting. Does the buzz go off when the aux heat lite goes out? If the aux heat does not shut off then the primary heater (heat pump) is not putting out enough heat to satisfy the thermostat. I need a little more info. Do you have a heat pump? Is it working?

Heater will not stay lit on auto procom ml 300 blue flame

If you have an ML300HGA, it is a manual-control heater, which means you turn it on and you turn it off. No thermostat. It does not have an AUTO setting.

Likewise, the thermostat-controlled models do not have a Manual mode. If you have the ML300TBA, it has a thermostat and will turn itself on/off in order to maintain a room temperature.

On manual models, the numbers (if any) on the dial are heat output selections. Set the control to the highest heat setting and that's what it does until you turn it off.

On automatic thermostat models, the numbers on the dial are temperature selections. Set the control to the highest heat setting and the heater will continue running until it is 85-90 degrees, then shut off. Set it around 2 and it will maintain a temp of around 70 degrees.

All Procom heaters are either automatic (thermostat-controlled) or Manual. None are both.
