Hi we have just moved from the UK to Australia and our TV's (3 in total) will not tune in. They do have in built digital tuners but still don't work. I have had to buy an Australian digital tuner to get my tv to work. Haven't tried the dvd player yet but i think this is the same system.

You need to have an AC converter, also the tuner from the TV's may not work since they have another format (PAL) and the DVD players are a different region.

We have moved from Australia to the UK. We brought our furniture and electrical goods with us. We can view our Australian DVD's and some UK DVD's (realised that they appear to be labelled PAL...

You will need to get a second dvd player locally to play those movies. Some DVD players allow you to change region codes but limit you to 5 changes, it locks in on the 5th.

Hi, I am trying to tune in my bush tv without success - I bought it in Ireland but the tuning does not give ireland as an option.... what can i do?

When selecting a country, chose Australia not the UK as Australia broadcast in VHF, whereas the UK do not. Then hit the search button and it should pick up the 4 Irish channels, no problem.

Hi, i bought this dvd player in australia and have since moved to new zealand. will all the tv features work?

The DVD player will play Region 4 DVDs both in New Zealand and Australia. If this player has a TV tuner, then the stations may need to be set/scanned for NZ stations.

Will my Australian DVD recorder & Plasma TV work in the USA?

Hi. No they won't work. Different systems here (found out the hard way). Ironically we are now moving back to Australia from New Jersey and we have nearly the exact same system that we have to sell before coming back !

We have just moved from he uk to perth

I beieve you have a TV standards prolem. According to the chart available at the website below, the UK is PAL I and the Aussies use PAL B/G. So if you bought a TV in Australia and are using the DVD Combo from the UK I think you are out of luck. A reputable TV repair shop would be able to answer further questions about this without charge.

Taking TV from UK to Australia

The TV has a setting for Australia in the Digital setup menu, so there shouldn't be a problem.

The mains voltage in Australia is 240V - 50Hz, so you should only need to change the mains lead.

If you decide to go ahead, when you set up the tv:

Switch on tv.

Press and hold "MENU" on the side of the tv.

Menu will appear on-screen.

Continue to hold until menu clears.

Wait.

TV will reset to factory settings, allowing you to re-tune the tv.
