Question about Dell Inspiron 8200 Notebook
I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 with a sound problem. I have the crystal audio drivers version 7, 8, amd 9 downloaded from the Dell website. They all seem to work just fine until I reboot. If I uninstall the device and reinstall the drivers, any cersion, the sound works fine again. I want the sound to work all the time. This seems to be an ongoing problem, which I discovered, after an exhaustive Google search, that no one has the answer to. Please help. Thanks, Mike
Hello an welcome:
1st use only the dell drivers from there web site.
2: remove the crystal 7,8,9 from your system ,
add remove software in control panel
3: run and load the dell software modules for sound.
put the dell back to its original condition driver wise.
the dell comes with disks than allow recovery.
If you are missing these disks then the repairs get real hard.
Also you should be asking Dell too, how to do this after all it is there design.
log in to Dell and find your drivers is my answer.
