IP Address I've been trying to set up my laptop with my router which has been working fine. I was putting in info for port forwarding and now I can't get the router info when typing in the IP address into internet explorer. I need to reset the router but have no access to it. Any ideas?

There should be a small pin hole access at the rear of the router, press in for about 10 seconds with a ball point pen and release, this will set to factory default, but set it back up using a wired lan cable and not wirelessly.

Port forwarding for model number F7D5301

To setup port forwarding on this router your computer needs to have a static ip address. Or you can take alook at our Static IP Address guide to setup a static ip address. When you are finished setting up a static ip address, please come back to this page and enter the ip address you setup in the Static IP Address box below. Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser. If you do not know your routers internal IP address please read our How To Find Your Routers IP Address guide.

The address bar has in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your router. By default the IP address should be set to

We do not currently know the default username and password for your router.
Click the NAT button near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Port Forwarding.
Enter the name of the program into the Description box. It doesn't really matter what you put into this box, but something that will remind you why these ports are being forwarded would be a good idea.
Enter the port to forward into the Public Port and the LAN Port boxes.
Use the Protocol Type drop down box to select the protocol type of the ports you are forwarding.
Enter the ip address to forward these ports to into the LAN IP Address box. If you are forwarding ports so you can run a program on your computer, you should enter your computer's ip address into that box.
Put a checkmark in the Enable checkbox.
When you're finished, click Save Setting near the top of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

My xbox is connected to my internet via connecting my xbox to my laptop. I tried changing the nat settings by doing all the methods, you name it: port forwarding, DMZ, UPNP, and it STILL DOES NOT *******...

I know what you're going through as it is common on Belkin routers. There are actually some good solutions to this found on youtube for simple instruction to help demostrate but I'm gleaned you already have done some of the advanced steps. Here is my question did you ever set your xbox 360 with a static ip address and then add it to the firewall/virtual server settings. You put the static ip address in and the xbox 360 ports.

How do I do port forwarding with one static IP to put my address in my other computers . I need to shadow into with VNC after I install address on my computer is port forwarding marked on the menus are...

Find the IP-address of the computer that you want to accept VNC connections.

Access the router's web-interface.
Find its web-page for "port-forwarding".
Define 'TCP' port '5900' to be forwarded to the IP-address that you found.
Save the settings, and restart your router.

Hopefully, Verizon's FIOS network does not "block" all 'TCP:5900' traffic.

Not able to use remote viewing via no-ip

I had the same exact issue. I was using dyndns to connect, but i found out that when you login in the host, dont put your local ip address of the dvr, but instead put the internet ip address of your network. so instead of for your local put the for the internet address. That fixed my issue. Hope that works for you. Just make sure your username and password is right and the port is set up correct in your router to forward to the local ip of the dvr.

Opening the NAT connection for Xbox 360 working through 2 routers

  1. How do you connect your Linksys router to Belkin router? Do you connect your Linksys router to the Internet/WAN port of the Belkin?
  2. If so, what is the Internet connection type set in your Belkin router? Is it dynamic?
  3. If the Belkin router is set to dynamic IP and if it is obtaining an IP address from your Linksys router(you may check the status page of your Belkin router and look for IP address), then you may need to forward or set that IP address as the DMZ to your Linksys router. Make sure that XBOX is still configured as the DMZ host in your Belkin
Hope this helps!
