How can i find out what the make and model is on my washing machine

Most of the time, the model/serial tag is under the lid or behind the door, but sometimes it can be found on the top, back, or other location. If there is a metal tag with inscribed lettering, you can improve the readability by rubbing a dirty finger over it.

Washing machine

Lower the exit pipe fixed behind your washer to let out the water. If there is much water in machine it will not open. Then open the top of the machine, screws behind the top. Reach out to where the lock is, you may find a plastic tag which you shd pull down, it's the door release tag.

Where do I find the model number on a Roper washing machine

Is there a 'tag' in the back of the machine, sometimes called SERIAL # ,it sometimes replaces the model #. If there is no paper, tag, etc. etc. with no numbers , look for a model name. example: Lucie series, Murphy series. Last but not lease look INSIDE [take back off] and on the other side maybe the model # in a 'pocket' plastic back. NEXT:: last but not lease..... check the model # of the MOTOR. Some motors are placed ONLY in a certain models.

I need a knob , for why washing machine

http://www.repairclinic.com/Whirlpool-Washing-Machine-Parts

I buy parts at Repairclinic.com

They keep my old Maytag going

You can also google-search 'Maytag washing machine parts'

You need to know your model number ... so there is a metal tag located on back of machine that has this information.
The tag has all kinds of little numbers that are hard to read

I have a tip for all your appliance labels ...
Take a photo of the tag with your digital camera, and then download the full-size photo to your computer. This will make numbers easy to read. And you have a record of all your model numbers with voltage and amperage when you go comparison shop for a replacement.
The tag tells me the machine is 120V and 7Amps, which means it uses 840Watts (120 X 7) ... so each hour it runs, it uses .84 Kilowatt-hours or .84Kwh of electricity and now I can figure how much it costs each year to operate the appliance.

Changing the brushes on a beko washing machine

Its been a while since I changed beko but here goes.......... Put the machine on its side (soapbox side down, This prevents excess water from the soapbox dribbling into the PCB and creating a further problem). There is an opening at the bottom of the machine in which you will see the motor. On each side of the motor will be the brushes each with a connecting spay-tag, gently take of the spay tag with long nose pliers (not grabbing the wire) and change the brush. VERY IMPORTANT.....each brush is angled and it is important you replace the correct brush eg. left hand brush to left hand etc. or else when you goto wash the next time you will simply hear a bang and have to price a new motor. I highly recommend when you take each brush off do it slowly noting its angle and replace the new one at the same angle. Wfen done replace the spay tag. I am presuming you know to do this when the machine is fully powered off and plugged out. Happy Fixing.
