I live in England and noticed in the 800-region of channels there were BBC Scotland and BBC Wales. Have a look through 800-onwards and you may come across ITV channels like this. It is possible that ITV only do regionalised service so I would be unable to help any further.
There is not a problem with the TV despite it's age this is can be due to your reception of the digital package for BBC. Have you checked through he full listings? sometimes the BBC channel will be at a different number setting because of the transmitter you are receiving. I assume you are using a digital box, you can enter a menu which will give you an indication of the strength & quality of the incoming signal. Do you pick up some of the other BBC channels such as BBC3 or CBBC? It's possible your aerial strength is a bit weak for the digital BBC package & you may need to have that looked at.
Press menu type 1570 scroll to nagravision menu and press ok scroll down to start of line 00 enter codes press ok to save scroll back to line 00 under provider code and press right arrow to change to 01 scroll to code line and enter codes press ok to save press exit a few times to get back to viewing screen if you entered the correct codes then your channels should be working.
