SOURCE: modifiy scanner

Sorry, but by law your scanner is not capable of receiving cellular frequencies, and there is no modification that can enable such reception. Don't feel too disappointed though, as nearly all cellular transmissions are digital now, and that's a mode that your scanner could not decipher even within its frequency coverage.

SOURCE: HAVE RADIO SHACK DIGITAL TRUNKING SCANNER, WHAT

You cannot pick up cell phone conversations on your scanner. Federal law prohibits the manufacture and sale of scanners capable of receiving cellular bands, and modern scanners cannot be modified to include those frequencies Sorry. . . .

SOURCE: How to pick up cell phone frequencies on scanner.

I had a scanner with 800mhz .. programed it to scan from 900.000
to 800.000 .. between those freqs. ..found several calls ... from cell phones .. but that was not what I was looking for ... I just ran into it by accident.

Police Officers ...from all agencies .. monitor cell phones .. all the time so if it illegal for citizens to do it , it should be for them also but I under the impression judges turn a blind eye to that fact.

SOURCE: i have a pro-528triple trunking

Sorry, but the answers to your questions are no and no. Modern scanners are what they are, and they cannot be modified to monitor any secure (encrypted), digital, or cell phone communications. There is no magic fix to convert an analog scanner to digital. If you want to listen in to digital communications you'll need to purchase a digital-capable scanner, but that will still leave you without cell phone coverage or the ability to listen in to whatever secure transmissions you're referring to.

Need manual in English for BC75XLT

Uniden has the manual for the BC75XLT in their support section for manuals. Start here, https://www.uniden.com/product-information/owners-manuals , and search for your scanner. It's also available from the Product Support tab on the product page: https://www.uniden.com/scanner/id-BC75XLT/BC75XLT_300-Channel_Handheld_Scanner . The direct link to the English version of the manual is https://www.uniden.com/File%20Library/FooterNav/Product%20Information/Owners%20Manuals/BC75XLTom.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Wont connect to computer

I had the same problem. Make sure the program is running and the scanner is turned on, go into "Tools", "COM Port Setting...", and click on "Auto Detect." That should work every time.

Will this unit pick up cell phone and cordless phone conversations?

Sorry, but you are out of luck on both counts. It's against federal law to manufacture a scanner that will receive cellular phone calls, and modern scanners cannot be modified to do so. Plus that, virtually all cell phone conversations are now digital, and your scanner processes analog signals only. Most cordless phones operate at frequencies above 2GHz, and the BC60XLT maximum is just 512MHz.
