Dishwasher problem

this happens because there is a shot circuit somewhere, now where to start

plug in without switching on at the switch, if it trips then there is a mains filter thats shorting out, this is a small part just inside the case where the mains wire enters the cabinet / very common fault and very cheap to fix.

otherwise check all individual parts one at a time, start with heater element, then pump, the motor, unplug to test, if it doesn't trip while unplugged the you have the right thing, replace part as needed

Older Bosch dishwashers have a flat cable run from hinged door to machine body.This can become worn through the insulation by rubbing against internals when door is opened & shut causing an electrical short.
