Question about Intel SE7320EP2 (SE7320EP2DG) Motherboard
On my SE7320EP2, everytime I boot up it greets me with the "Error (51A2): System cover has probably been opened". The chassis intrusion switch has been totally removed and we have tried to put a jumper on the connection but we still get the error. We have cleared the event logs in the BIOS and it still comes up. Any suggestions besides changing out the motherboard?
I hope there an option in the BIOS that could disable chassis intrution detection. Please check the BIOS settings....

I would say you probably need to update the firmware. That should clear any issues you have with the event log

Tips for a great answer:
Alert! Cover was previously removed.
To reset the Detected setting, enter system setup. In the Chassis Intrusion option, press the left- or right-arrow key to select Reset, and then choose On, On-Silent, or Off.
