I would Say the if you have another account that has Administrator then you could go to that account and then proceed to switch over to your actual account and change it's password. all is done by pressing start, go to your picture, of your other administartor account, and click on your picture so you can proceed to on the left side, click change account and click on your old account. Is it a hardware bios password or the windows password? A bios password will show up just as you start the laptop. It will be one of the first things you see on the display. After entering it the laptop will continue to load and the windows logo will show up. If you don't see any windows logo showing up, then the password is hardware based and that program woun't help you. If you found that this is your case, please post a comment and I'll try to explain what to do next. Please note that this process may involve some dissasembling of your laptop in order to get to the BIOS chip on the mainboard.
