Its seems like you already try to unlock the PIN, is the PDA is 'really' belongs to you? :-) haha.. just kidd! sorry pal..
It's well known that your pin protection cannot be undone unless you know the right pin to unlock it, even (I've try once) you do a hard-reset.
Probably if once you remember other things except PIN (e.g your answer of a question, your son birthday, bla..bla) that would have a clue to reset the PIN you'd forgoten.
