I have all the same size burner switches, this one is for the large front right burner.

I have switched the switch back and forth when it locks up on, but that does not make a difference. Also I have checked the power source, it is fine at the plug at 226 volts. When it sticks on I have learned to disconnect the range from the power for several seconds (30 seconds) and when I plug it back in it will work fine again.

Is the burner actually on or is it the light that stays on?

The burner stays on at 100%, I believe the light goes on and off with the switch, but not sure about the light.

You will need to replace the switch. Here is the part to order.
There is also a video on that parts page to show you how to make the repair.

SOURCE: Electric range burners and oven

check the power behind the stove, the outlet for 220 volts, i just fix one with the same problem, it was getting 110 volts but not the 220 volts. so there was nothing wrong with the stove but with the power source.when the stove indicator lights work and the clock, it means that only 110 volts are coming to the stove.

SOURCE: Small burner of dual surface(right front) stopped working.

Does yours have the (small large burner switch)? If so, try switching it back and forth. It could be defective or your small burner element is bad.

Burners wont work any more

Good Morning Fern mullen, I appreciate your post!
Based off what you have described your burners are no longer working on your Frigidaire range. This could be an issue with your control panel or the switch. I would recommend performing a reset on your range and you can do that by disconnecting power from the range for at least ten minutes. If that does not help correct your issue I would suggest having a technician out to your home for a proper diagnosis and repair. Best of luck! -Matt

I have FFEF4015LW range. my burners go hot when turned to low (red not). how do i fix

Hey jon mark, thanks for your post!

From what you have described the burners on your Frigidaire range and glowing hot when turned on low. It is possible that your burner switches or elements could be faulty. You can perform a reset and that may help correct the issue, in or to perform a reset you would need to disconnect the power from your range for ten minutes. If that does not help correct the issue I would suggest consulting with a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. Hope this helps. -Matt

Replacement Range element not heating

red light means power is on in the wires. maybe the plug is very dirty, wire disconnected. if you mesured power at the connector, there is no reason a good burner would not work unless that when plugged in its not getting a good contact

Lg lre30451st right front/right rear burners won't come on

I tried this on the advice of another post. It worked for me and now all of my burners are working again!
Push the "Clear" button & then push the "Start" & keep it held in until you see the lock button light up (takes awhile - be patient) & then push the "Clear" button again. After I did this the "Clock" worked again - reset the clock to the correct time & push "Start"

You may have a bad spark/ignition module, it is located under the main top (on most models) and tells the burners too spark

Unable to preheat

You need to replace the temp. sensor. It's not reading correctly. These occasionally go when you use the self clean as the range gets up as high as 900 degrees. Replace it and it will solve the problem
