Try start up repair by pressing F8 when your computer is booting, or try system restore. If these don't work, you may need to re-install Windows.

How to DISABLE programs in start-up

Usually, computer is slow and this is due to programs start when Windows start. and you have an option to stop them from starting. there is always an option to open the programs on the computer. Here are the steps to Disable programs:
  • Step 1: click on start
  • Step 2: click on "run" or "start search"
  • Step 3: type "msconfig" then hit enter
  • Step 4: on the system configuration window. click on startup tab: then click on disable all.
  • Step 5: click on apply
  • Step 6: click close : then click on restart..
In some cases a permission window pop up would appear, just click ok.. then after the restart , your system should be running a bit faster.. "in some cases a message on Vista and Windows 7 will tell you about Admin rights... and the option your need to is before hitting enter after typing msconfig on the run box, right-click on the message that appears on the right hand screen then choose "Run as Administrator" HOPE this would help you..Cheers..

Hi, this may happens if the files of the Windows gets corrupted. Please re-install Windows to resolve Windows restarting issue. If the stripe lines still appears after re-installing Windows, then the issue might be related to hardware. In this case, please contact the manufacturer to initiate service.

Alway get error message cood116a

check that you have the latest graphics drivers for your card installed, as it sounds like a graphics problem.

to do that click start, then RIGHT click on my computer and then left click on manage. Click on device manager in the top left window, a list of all hardware will appear in the right window , click on the + to the left of the display adapters and then right click on the item that appears below the + and click update driver. Then restart your pc. That should solve your problem. If you have no device listed or it says standard vga then no drivers are installed and you need to go to your manufacturers site and download the driver. Hope this helps
