One or more Problems could cause this
1) I believe you have an HSI Ignitore in your Oven These sometimes Crack and will glow enough to ignite the burners before they stop working completely. Your burner tube might be Dirty or Clog and needs to be cleaned as well as the orifice face. Check it out let me know if this was the Problem.

I have a Maytag MDG9606AWW gas dryer. The heat is intermittent. What part is most likely to need replacing?

Although it could be several things, the three most likely suspects is the radiant sensor P/N 338906, the thermostat P/N 303395 if there is a temperature fluctuation but the burner is active. The gas valve P/N 306176 if the burner is not active. Intermittent problems are very hard to troubleshoot so you need to write down every indication and when it happens. For example: Works good on permanet press, but not on high.

Hope this helps. Hal aka ImJustAvg

Hello, sometimes even though the igniter is glowing it can be weak and not able to ignite the gas. Also, since the gas valve is clicking that means that it is receiving 24 volts but it is also possible that gas valve is sticking and not allowing gas to flow to tne buners everytime.

I have a bakers pride pizza oven and the bottom oven Including the pilot light) continue to go out for no apperant reason. I have changed the thermocouple 3 times and the pilot light once. Sometimes it...

Several things to check. First be sure the pilot light flame is directly striking the thermocouple. It is a pencil sized rod that is next to the pilot light. Sometimes people reduce the size of the pilot flame to save gas. You may need to increase the pilot flame. Follow the small gas line from the pilot flame back to the gas valve. There is a screw where the small pilot gas line goes into the valve. Remove the screw and then deep in the hole is a tiny screw that can only be reached by a tiny flat blade screw driver. Turn the screw counter clockwise to increase the pilot flame. The thermocouple needs to be red hot to work properly. The second item to check is to see if there are any breezes that occasionally blow through the kitchen. Sometimes the hood fan will draw air under the ovens and actually blow the pilot flame out. Same fix, increase the flame. You may also experience low gas pressure to the appliance during heavy usage. You would need a manometer gauge to check for proper gas pressure. In short, if the oven goes out during your busiest time when everything gas powered is on, the oven may be starved for gas.

Hi,
Yes, I think that you have a problem with the ignitor on your gas range.
As crazy as it may seem the ignitor can light your oven and then the power going through it drops off too much and it will shut your gas valve off. It sits there and goes crazy trying to relight all the time and never gets your oven hot. Sometimes it will and sometimes it won't... Drove me nuts the first time my own oven did that a few years back.

Here is a tip that will help explain it also. At the bottom of that tip there is also a tip on how to buy partson line.

Where can i get my bosch microwave oven repaired now mfi have gone bust

Our Bosche microwave has failed to work, it was bought 5 12 06 and failed, it was repaired on 20 12 06 , bottom hinge faulty, eng no 70792. It has the same symptoms, some days it would work after several attempts, butnow it will not work at all. Can you give me any hints as to how I might get it to work? Is it out of guaranttee? How much would it cost to repair it, the last time was 36 mins? It seems to me to be a faulty model to start with and at the price we paid, three times what an average one cost a poor deal.

Gas Range, trouble igniting

It is likely that the ignitor needs to be replaced. If the range does not sense the correct amount of resitance in the ignitor it turns the gas valve off. When the ignitor is starting to fail the problem is intermittent, so the range turns on and off as you have described.

I use the plastic zip ties to hold connecters on cars fairly often I would think this part of the oven is cool enough.
