I have a Fimco 2100 model sprayer that keeps blowing the fuse. Wiring is all ok. Pump doesn't even attempt to turn on. Fuse blows almost 1 second after pump switch is turned on. Pressure gauge never...

The breaker is too small, the cord is too small, the starter motor on that thing draws 18 amps. It will trip any 15 amp breaker and any 20 amp breaker with something else running, any cord will drop the amp below the starter winding min. make sure nothing is running, separate circuit if you can find one, no extension cord, and a 20 amp breaker in the fuse box. if that is not the problem , then something is shorting out when you hit the switch. Check the wiring on the pump and make sure all is secure, no loose wires, no sparks. My compressor won't run on any old plug, has to be 20 amp, has to be without a cord or with a heavy cord, and has to be hot out, if it is cold, forget it!. We have to keep the compressors in a heated room so they will run in the winter. Hope this helps.

Fuel pump fuse blows after bout 20 minutes of engine operation. no shorts found

There may be internal mechanical resistance in the fuel pump causing it to draw more current (amps) when it warms up (for example after 20 minutes of operation). My guess is replacing the fuel pump will fix this problem.

My 2002 f350 diesel keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse every couple of miles. What is causing this? I changed the filter and it made it worse.

the problem could be the fuel pump fuses only blow when they are overloaded ie. if you have a 15 amp fuse & the fuel pump or whatever is drawing 20 amps the fuse will blow,if you are using the right amp fuse the fuel pump is drawing too much power & may be faulty or there is a problem with the wiring, a loose connection or the like.....hope this helps....cheers

My flojet pump runs but it pumps no water . It is a 25 gallon sprayer

Sounds to me like it just needs priming (or in other words) the air bled out of it.
Using the force of gravity, force water to run STRAIGHT DOWN from the 25 gal tank, through the gate valve & into the running pump.
While doing this, close the bypass valve slowly until it's about 3/4 of the way shut.
You should begin to hear the sound of the pump begin to deepen as the air escapes.
If you don't, then there may be an air leak somewhere along the hose line, typically at the filter, causing it not to prime.
Correct the air leak, then you'll probably have better luck.

I recommend not running an electric pump like a Flojet for very long when it's not primed. Doing this may overheat it & shorten its lifespan considerably.

1993 Yamaha GTS keeps blowing EFI fuse (10 Amps)

The EFI fuse, powers the ECU, the injector 12V feed, and the fuel pump. If it does it within a few seconds of trying to start the bike, it is the fuel pump. The bike has been stored for a while and the old fuel has gummed up the pump rotors, which stalls the pump and blows the fuse. If it is whilst it tries to run, then a short on the injector feeds or ECU wiring loom is favourite...do not try a 20A fuse

2002 Dodge Neon 20 amp FP/ASD fuse #21 keeps blowing

It appears that it is part of the fuel pump circuit, so I would concentrate on wiring harness & connector at fuel pump, clean it real good, and apply dielectric grease to the connection, as well as the fuel pump relay, connector & harness.
