Question about World Dryer A5974 Hand Dryer

Open Question

We bought two hand dryers. One of them is blowing way too hard. We don't see any speed controls inside the unit. Does anyone know what's happening?

I have a 98 silverado, the air and heat will only blow out of the defrost if I set it to any other mode the air all blows out the bottom mid of the dash you can hear it and feel it whenever you switch the...

The actuators on your vehicle are electric motors. The mode actuator controls where the air comes out. It's located on the opposite end of the heater box from the blower motor. Remove the actuator and try moving the door by hand. If it moves freely, you probably have a bad actuator. Pretty hard to test the actuator and heater control without a scan tool though.

I have a maytag msd2572vew side by side refrigerator. the freezer side works fine but fridge side does not get cold. the vents in the fridge feel like no air is blowing. anyone know what's wrong?

You have a defrost problem and will need to thaw out your freezer to change the one of the bad parts and restore air flow. The other bad part is PCA (this is a control of defrost and compressor run). First bad part is a defrost thermostat link under bad and the other is the PCA which controls the defrost cycle. Unplug unit, de-ice the freezer and this will buy you time to get parts, I don't like the use of blow dryers but people use them in this case. Watch the heat, is can warp the plastic.
Good Luck

Digital readout says eaaf

The unit will not turn on if the internal temp sensor is below 40 degrees. Warm it with a hot rag or hair dryer, or bring the unit inside to warm up and it will turn on. Once the unit turns on for a minute or so, it will work fine outside.

This isn't the ideal solution, but it will work. I don't know why they don't want the smoker to turn on when it is cold out (unless they are worried that the quick change in temp will damage the heating coil).

I need to know where the time delayed fuses are on a kenmore 500 electric dryer??? anyone know?

the only fuse on a dryer might be on the electronic control panel there are no time-delay fuses inside the unit,do you have power to the unit? or does it stop heating or quit all together,if it quits heating its probably your hi-limit thermostat on the element case or cycling thermostat

Amana NEW7200TW (1 year old) runs, but stopped heating.

Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

Just bought it second hand & don't know how it works!

it uses a hose that must be vented out a door or window, you can buy a dryer vent hose for cheap.

My dryer turns but only blows cold

I just recently tore my dryer apart for the same reason. It seems that my timer got stuck and the dryer was running for almost 20 hours straight and burned out the clip that holds the heating coil to the connector inside the dryer. If you unscrew the back plate from your dryer (please unplug it first), it'll be on the bottom right hand side as you're looking at the back. The heating unit should have 3 or 4 quick disconnect clips and a few small screws holding it to the venting tubes. Remove the clips from the heater unit and then remove the screws, look inside the heating unit at the coils and see if any of them cracked from excessive heat or broke for any reason.
