Question about Progressive Computer InsigniaT 1,000W 6.1-Ch. Home Theater System - IS-HTIB102 System

1 Answer

Yamaha digital sound projector (soundbar) YSP 800, constantly buzzes and only way to nullify (by drowning out) is to ramp up the volume. Sometimes this increase in volume actually fixes the problem, until you turn off the unit and at switch on, off we go again!!

thanks iugene, do you mean a ground wire in a plug or lead coming out of the back or something iside the soundbar? Ive moved the box and plugged it in in a different location with nothing else attached but the buzzing is still there. As siad a good volume blast for a period sometine eliminates the buzzing then I can turn it down and listen normally without interference. weird. Thanks.

I AM LOOKING FOR A REMOTE YAMAHA SOUNDBAR YSP-1100

The replacement remote is available at Amazon.com and probably other vendors of replacement remote controls. The replacement original remote at Amazon is here: https://www.amazon.com/OEM-Yamaha-Remote-Control-YSP-1100SL/dp/B0166DUFAE . If you need the information to program this remote for other devices, see the manual. The manual is available from Yamaha at the product support page: http://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio-visual/digital-sound-projector/ysp-1100_black__u/ . The direct link to the manual is currentlyhttp://download.yamaha.com/api/asset/file/?language=en&site=usa.yamaha.com&asset_id=8872 .

I hope this helps.

Do you have any other nearby devices that emit radio frequencies like a wireless router or a cell phone? I have had issues with buzzing on some of my speakers when my cellphone was nearby.

I get a loud static noise, when I first turn on the yamaha ysp-1. Lasts a few seconds. Have unplugged all inputs. Problem persists.

u have a cool sound projector but u have a baaaad power supply system. bad power supply design - u will get all sorts of noise when u power it up. i have a sub woofer with the same problem(which in my case is the way it is designed). i used a delay circuit. but in ur case i know YSP-1 has a clean start up. so, if the warranty still covers it get it replaced. static noises, pop noises are often caused by bad capacitors.

Connecting an iPod to Yamaha YSP-1000

The best way to get quality sound would be to go through the USB connection of the phone.

It will be hard and a bit costly to get a cable to link the Ipod and projector.

Easiet and economical way is to go to apple and purchase a cable for the jaudio jack at the top of the Ipod that will also have an audio jack connector for the projector
