Make sure that your base station is powered on. Check your manual on how to link your phone to the base.

SOURCE: PROBLEM OF USING MY CORDLESS

Contact the manufacture sales rep to find out where you can purchase a power supply for the country you are going in to. This is the best solution.

If you want to use a step down transformer for your present power supply, make sure it is a true transformer and not one of these solid state devices for this. The solid state ones will damage the power supply for the phone.

The other aspect for this, is that in some countries the load impedance standard is not all the same. This will effect the performance of the phone.

With cordless phones, there are regulations for the frequency bands used. Not all cordless phones are legal in different countries. Many of them have their own regulations.

Personaly, because these phones are so cheap now-a-days, I would buy a new one in the country of destination. This way, I know it will work properly and meet their regulations.

SOURCE: One of the phones gives the message

If other phones are working with this base, then you may need to register the phone with the base. You will have to check your manual for how to do this. Some phones have it on their menu and some do it by simply placing the phone in the base unit. I'm not sure what model you have or how old your system is. Hope this helps. Good luck!

SOURCE: KEEPS SAYING NO LINK TO BASE - RECONNECT MAIN

Hi,

ry this.

Registering a handset to a base unit

1 Base unit:

Press and hold {LOCATOR} for 4 seconds until the registration tone

sounds.

  • If all registered handsets start ringing, press the same button to stop. Then repeat this step.
  • The next step should be completed within 90 seconds.

2 Handset:

Press {OK}, then wait until a long beep sounds.

Note:

  • While registering, "Base registering" is displayed on all

registered handsets.

If the problem does not resolve, check that the AC cord is seated fully at the base of the unit and that the handset is fully charged.Use a different fuse for the phone to eliminate blown fuse issue which could be quite common.

If the problem persists, you need to send the phone for repair.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

The antennas on both 1,2 are blinking how can i get them to stop and to connect to my phone line, and plus they say that no link.reconnect base ac adaptor? And how to reset them to work again?

When both handsets have the antenna symbols blinking the base set is not working. So check that part. It has nothing to do with the phone line, because the connection between base station and handset should also work without the line connected. Check the power supply of the base station or its cable. When you are 100% sure the power supply is giving the correct voltage and enoug current I'm affraid the base station is defect.

Uniden ac adaptor input120v output9v convertingto 220v

normally the adaptor has a switch for converter 11oVac to 220vac. If you adaptor do not have, you must ask to the company to provide a new one. Otherwise you can not connect it. You can damage the base unit.

God bless you

Replacement AC adaptor for M804

Check the phones specifications. Usually they are either under the phone or base or on the back. There you will see the Voltage at least. Then go to your neighborhood hardware store (computer stores may have it too, sometimes) look for the adaptor that have variable voltage as well as variable plugs that will adapt to the female input sockets on your phone or phone's base. Hope this helps.
