Yes it is the same.
Make sure that the timer is set to manual, and not on auto or the oven will not work..
It should tell you the procedure in your user instructions.
Plz rate my solution.

Take a wire coathanger and cut the long wire from the middle.
Bend a small "U" shape on one end.
Slide the "U" in from the left side of the oven door near the top center.
Moving the wire back and forth slowwly to grasp the lock latch.
When you feel the latch pull the wire firmly to the left to open the door.
Then have the latch mechanism repaired.

Providing the existing switch outlet iscontrolled by a 30amp circuit fuse or trip, then there is no problem connecting the 2 appliances to the same switch.
If on the other hand, it is controlled by a 13 amp breaker, then you cannot connect both appliances to this, you would have to use 2 seperate sockets.
Hope this clarifys your question.

SOURCE: I have a 30" (76cm)
Most ovens have either a flat piece of glass with clips either side covering the oven light or a round glass knob which unscrews. The glass covers can sometimes be difficult to remove due to heat and fat build up. You can tap the flat glass with a blunt object. You can use multigrips on the glass knob, just be careful.

Tips for a great answer:
I appreciate your inquiry, Sidney!
I see that you are having a difficulty with the preheat indicator on your Frigidaire range constantly staying on. This could be a possible issue with that switch or indicator light. I would recommend seeking help from a certified technician for exchanging or replacing any electrical components. This will prevent any personal injury or future issues with your range. I hope this is helpful information. -Matt
