SOURCE: how do i change the line on my bosch garden

As it was impossible for me to get cap off spool I used a screw driver to prize off lid. If i ever need a new garden strimmer I will never ever buy this model again. It was so frustrating I felt like throwing it over the fence and buying a black and decker one.

SOURCE: threading line on black & decker GL301 strimmer

Do you mean that the string keeps feeding as you try to operate the trimmer?

If so, you are winding the string on the spool the wrong way. Put the string on the spool in a clockwise direction. This should do it.

We have a bosch dishwasher model shx43c and water is dripping on the floor from the area of the supply line, taking the supply line fitting out and re taping it and re tightening it has not helped, could...

If the supply line is leaking it could be a 3/8 supply line maybe the rubber washer built in the line is shot try replacing the supply line.they are about 15.00 at home depot.do not over tighten the new line you could damage it.some times people cross the thread types on these connection you have pipe thread and compression threads that is the best way to explain it I know of.Just make sure you pay attention to the threads.

Hi I recently bought a Ryobi RLT26CDS. Every time the thread needs extending I have to undo all the gadget and manually pull and extend the thread. could you please tell me how I could extend the thread...

'Bump' the strimmer line unit on the ground (this is how it releases the line)-It sometimes gets stuck(welded to the sides if the release chamber-it gets hot and melts)-
hope this helps

Rethreading a garden strimmer

Hi Deborah,
You need to start from the beginning of the trimmer string. Remove the entire spool. Insert the start of the line through and wedge it into the little groove to keep it from coming loose. Now wind the line tightly and neatly in the direction shown on the spool. (it should provide an arrow stating to "wind this way". As you near the end of the line, keep it snug and push the end through the hole where it leads out to the cutting zone. As you re-insert the spool into the housing, make sure it stays tightly wound as you lock it into place. This should help. Usually when your string is too short, you tap the **** of the spool on the ground to advance the line. It should feed a bit at a time, and when you hear it getting cut off, you should stop advancing the line.
Hope this helps.

Lowes, Home Depot, or any small engine repairer that deals in either Oregon or Rotary repair parts. Or try Husqvarna directly: http://www.husqvarna.com/au/homeowner/support/genuine-parts/
