Since your Neff oven is new, I hope I am correct in thinking you have the owner's instruction manual for the oven and you already checked there to see if there were any troubleshooting tips regarding the fan still running after turning the over off over an hour prior.

The number of place-settings a dishwasher holds is irrelevant. Different manufacturers quote different place-settings. Some manufacturers might include a soup bowl, still others could include a fish plate.

Make sure the oven is set for 'manual' start cooking as opposed to 'automatic'. Usually you have to press a button on the timer.
