I own a Jandy LX400N-L heater, power is on but no display on LCD screen?

Is the Heater ON - button pressed? Or the toggle switch?
Or is that what you meant by 'Power is on'?
I thought you May have meant, breaker to Heater is on.
Anyway, check the heater on/off's.
If all is on, possibly bad panel or board.

I have a air flow sw error, how do I trouble shoot it

That will usually be when to much air comes into the chimney that results in the flame going out, or, the blower assembly is not good anymore which will result in less air flowing thru the boiler.

I solved the chimney issue with raising the chimney above my outside wall (if it isn

Laars LX400N with LCD display. Display not

You will probally need a new board but that is hard to say without being there. As far as the replacement goes;don't let all the wires fool ya. Each set of wires has a set number of pins it fits so not only is it difficult to get them wrong but when you put the new board in place the wires will have a memory to them and fall into the place where they hook up. Nothing to it, but get a book and be sure that you need the board first as they are pricey.Good luck

I have a Kenmore 9114012190 oven it does not heat properly anymore the top and lower elements get hot but it will hardly get anything warm that is placed in it ie; bread has to stay in it for 45 mins to...

start by checking your input power for a full 240volts,then check the terminal block for any burned off power input wires, then check power connections all the way thru the oven control and finally check for "hot-spots" in both elements(highly unlikely that both would be bad) its a discolored area that is a high resistance area not passing full operating power thru element(s)

I've been told that I need a new gas valve. Are they expensive and difficult to replace

Usually under $100 and easy to replace. Comes with instructions. The tricky part is knowing which wires to connect so make a good diagram of the original to match up with the new in case the wire colors are different.

This can be caused by several things. 1st check the coolant level. You would be surprised how many people don't have heat because the coolant level is low. The hot engine coolant won't circulate thru the heater core if the level is low, resulting in no or little heat.
2nd What does the engine temp gauge indicate? Is it in the low-normal range or showing that the car isn't warming up? If that's the case, replace your thermostat, as that would indicate the thermostat may be stuck open, not allowing the engine to reach operating temperature. 3rd. Problem w/ heat control on dash. If the control isn't working properly, you won't get heat. Some cars have a valve that opens @ the firewall in the heater hose line that will stick shut, so no flow of coolant to heater core, others (probably what u have) is a 'door' that opens and closes when heat switch is moved. This door may not be working due to vacuum control/or cable problem w/ operation of door.4th is a plugged up heater core, which is the last thing to check, because it's the most difficult and expensive heat problem to fix. Let me know what u find, hope it's one of the easy ones!
