Question about ASUS Computers & Internet
I have an ASUS computer and the eject button on the optical drive is pushed too far in and will not work. I there a way that I fix the button?
Near the eject button (on the same face as the eject button) there should be a pin hole. Use a straigtened paper clip to force the ejection of a stuck disk. It may also work even without a disk stuck. ( I just tried it on the drive of the laptop.)

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

From memory its a bugger of a mission ,
Easier to take to a Service Technican unless you are able to do this type of repair,
It will require a lot of paiteince and skill to strip down and reassemble this just to get to the disk.
Give it to the PROS only if you want it to work again,
Sorry but thats the truth,
Hope this helps ,Please rate me thanks

SOURCE: cd stuck inside laptop
There is a small hole, usually near the eject button. Unbend a paper clip and carefully push the paper clip into the hole, try to keep it straight. drive should pop right out.

find a very little hole infront and get a pin about 3-4 inches long and stick it there the CD drive should open, it will be a little hard but push it and it will open.
