SOURCE: I am in Zimbabwe and need to use it in my network

You need to unlock your phone. Most websites will charge you to unlock your phone, but you can actually do it for free on one of these 3 websites:
http://www.unlockitfree.com/
http://www.trycktill.com/eng/unlock_swe.asp
http://www.nokiafree.org/ (not just Nokia, but a few other brands as well)

Have your IMEI code ready by typing *#06# on your phone, the IMEI code will show up on screen.

Remember, by unlocking some phones you may be in breach of a contract between you and your service provider.

A simple way to check is by inserting other network's simcards with the iPhone 4 and if it works without any problem then the iPhone is unlocked...if it shows any error messages like "Invalid sim"or "Error sim" then the phone is locked with a particular network. To remove the network lock you can approach Onlinegsmunlock.com and remove the network lock permanently using their remote unlock service. If you have any doubt with what network the mobile is locked too...you can use their contact us form to get the respective details.

Try using other simcards with your mobile...and still if you get the same error..maybe your phone is locked with a particular network. So, it won't accept other network sim cards except the locked network. You can get the unique unlock code for your mobile from Theunlockspot.com by specifying the mobile make, model, country and network to which the mobile is locked to....They also provide free unlock instructions along with the unlock code.

My Nokia5230 is automatically in Offline mode and when i insert simcard it wil be showing me invalid sim.what Wil i do?

If your phone displays the 'Invalid simcard' then your phone is currently locked to particular network. You need to unlock to use it with other network.
There can be many ways to Unlock your phone. As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way. I will suggest the website http://www.unlock-zone.com/ which is doing good service and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.
I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.
Hope this helps.
