My hayward navigator doesn't walk

not a problem with return pressure. navigators run off suction pressure. ensure proper suction from skimmer or designated suction line. then check the hose attached to navigator. put a new hose on, if this works then the hose was issue.....if no difference then replace the navigator

Navigator pool cleaner just skims the bottom of the pool and does not sit on the bottom, it moves all around the pool but appears to be floating a little. How can we fix this so it will sit and move on the...

Interesting question. Do you have the special Lead Hose, the one with a colored cuff attached to the Navigator itself? Other causes can be, too little or too much hose, a pinhole leak in one of the hoses above water causing the hoses to float, not enough suction on the Navigator. You didn't say if you have the Navigator plugged into a skimmer or in a dedicated suction port in the wall. I would first try increasing the suction to the unit and see if your problem doesn't go away.

Navigator sticks to the bottom of the pool and won't move. I replaced the turbine and the A frames are good. Will new feet help? the current ones are worn.

The feet might be the problem, but more than likely, you have too much suction on the pool vac. There is a suction gauge that comes with all new cleaners and most pool stores will have them available (maybe as a loaner even) to allow you to adjust the suction to your pool cleaner.
Try adjusting your suction to your cleaner to reduce the amount of direct suction to the cleaner to see if it operates, but if your feet are worn, you should definitely replace them.

If it's an older Navigator and it just recently started to hang up on the drain cover, replace the throat assembly, part 29. The lugs or hold offs on the bottom of the assembly have worn down and are not breaking the suction as the Navigator travels over the top of the domed drain cover. Replaced mine and no longer have the "my navigator gets stuck on the main drain" problem.

My pool navigator will not stay at the bottom its always coming to the top to clean and hovers there.

if by saying at the top you mean running around the top of the walls then reduce the suction on the vacuum by opening another valve slightly... if by at the top you mean floating around in the water then make sure the vacuum is getting enough suction.... it can be a number of issues causing loss of suction but most likely is going to be too many sources on suction side of pump.

Take it apart and make sure it doesn't have trash in the wrong places or broken gears, also check the other end of the hose and make sure you have suction at the unit.
