I am nore sure what happened nor not sure if it is broken..
When I entered the media inside the camera then turn it on and it refused to be turned on.. I pulled it out then turned it on.. it seems fine.. is it bad media or bad camera?

I'm thinking this camera was drop thats why this problem is happening, and this can be a mechanical problem inside the camera that some of its parts is loose now that's why it wont even power ON and the lens is not retracted and in fixing this the camera should be taken apart , but if the camera is still under warranty better take it to a service center or have it replace....
Sometimes the LENS can get stuck inside of it or outside of it. I would wiggle the lens around a little bit, putting a bit of pressure on it while doing so and see if that fixes it. Make sure you're attemping to turn the camera on while doing this.
This just happened to our camera. The AV connector was pushed to the side, and the LCD stopped working. My daughter pulled the little metal AV connector back to the original position and the camera works now, but the connector is damaged. I'm sure I'll have to take it to be repaired. I hope it doesn't cost as much as the camera. How did you solve it?
First check the battery door to make sure that it is closed properly. If you have a media door (the door which covers where the media cards are inserted) make sure that is closed properly. If this is the case then check that there is no plastic broken off. The doors contact with microswitches which allow the camera to turn on.
On the camera there is also a playback button. (green triangle) If you hold this and the camera turns on then your power switch is faulty.
Failing all of this then put some power into the camera via an adapter. If the camera turns on then it is likelly to be a battery fuse.
In all instances you will need to send the camera to be repaired at the fujifilm service centre. Web address below.
Sounds like its broken. the black ink stuff could mean the screen is cracked and it has bled internally. I had the same problem (screen bleeding). the not-turning-on part could be because ur not using full batteries, the batteries are not in the right way, or the screen crack is shorting something inside and not allowing the device to come on. get it replaced. when you turn it on press the menu/ok button is there any noise, tune. this happens to me to show its entered the menu section. if you are getting this sound, then its turning on but the screen is cracked. if not then you have a dead camera or change the battery positions or use new batteries.
