Two possible things come to mind...one costs nothing...the other cost at least some $.

1) Take out your hard drive and install it in another compatible machine...see if it boots up. If not you are fubar and should move to option # 2 if the data is that important.

2) Take the HD to a reputable service center and see if they can service it. Some techs are real good about fixing them to retrieve data.

Sorry you asked about losing file and pictures too...yes you will lose everything on the HD is you are unable to boot it up...# 2 above is an option...if the FBI can take a burnt HD and get information off of it...so can real good techs...its not complicated...but you certainly have to know what you are doing and have the right tools to do the job.

    Good luck.

Yes if you can't boot it up or if a pro can't get it to...you will lose everything on the HD.

Kycoera hydro life camera message phone storage full what does this mean

Your phone has internal storage, files such as pictures, music, applications, etc...take up space on your storage. Specifically, photo's, take a large amount of space.

To fix this you need to either delete some applications or pictures. You can also connect the phone to your computer via USB, and transfer the photos to your computer, then delete them off of your phone. Lastly, if you have an SD card on your phone, you can transfer the photos to the SD card instead of the internal storage.

Once you delete some files, you should have the space to start snapping again!

There is no sound, dvd picture is clear

You failed to mention the player type. Is it a computer/ Laptop or a standard DVD player? If you are referring to a computer/ Laptop, check to see the player is compatible - able to play the file format (video and audio) Standard Windows Media Player sometimes cannot play certain file formats. Try a different application... eg. VLC or DOMM etc.

Your answer to my last question worked but it has just put a picture screen with no task bar or anything else just my pointer so I could do with a bit more help. It's a hp omnibook Xe 3. Thanks

press control+alt+delete. select task manager. close explorer.exe from the running processes tab. right click and choose to run a new program (ctrl+R) type explorer.exe. you need a reimage if running all updates does not fix this. this means reinstall the main system after backing up files. you can do this for awhile. if updates doesn't fix it, reinstall windows, etc, anew and replace copies of backed up files in a merge. any operating system that does this has corrupted master files. :)

What is "my drive" and how do I find it on Lenovo laptop?

Well, it really depends upon what operating system is installed. Different versions of Windows define where you store your files with different icons and names. For example, in Windows 8.1 the operating system defines the internal storage as part of the "This PC" name, on my Lenovo Yoga2Pro. You should see an icon in the task bar that looks like the attached picture. The task bar is the row of icons (little pictures) that's usually along the bottom of the main (desktop) screen when the system boots or after you choose Desktop from the Windows main screen.. It may be on one side or the top also, but the bottom is most common. daccbe05-8de5-40fd-b113-31ba6b03ab00.jpg
Left click on the icon and it will open a new window showing all the possible places you could be storing files (documents, spreadsheets, pictures, etc.). It's likely that you'll then see something like this at the top of that window. e4a8cc07-1391-4725-8574-206f7dcc12e3.jpg

Notice the folder called Documents. That's likely to be the location that Lenovo is saying is your "My drive". Double left click on the folder name of icon and see what's there. You should see your saved files. The same applies to the ones called Pictures and Music, etc. There may even be one called "My Drive".

All of these are referring to a physical device inside your computer where you store files of all types. It's also the one item that you need to be sure to destroy or keep when you discard the laptop as it contains all of your personal data.

Hope this helped.

Copy your messages, pictures and videos through the usb cable and clear all your phone memory of it.After copying all this through your pc suite ,check the nokia exchange folder and copy the files on to your hard drive.
