Question about 2006 Focus Tailgate/Trunk Lid uk73594m Hatchback 5 door, heated glass, Without spoiler; Coupe 3 door, heated glass, Without spoiler Orlando, Florida
1. Remove the bulb and check to make sure the brass contacts are not corroded (green color/white).
2. You MAY have got a bad replacement bulb. Happened to me at AutoZone...
3. Your next step would be to get a circuit tester (or borrow one from the parts store) and see if you have current at the bulb receptacle.
Beyond that, it is probably a broken wire or connection somewhere in the vehicle. To trace it takes some skill and special equipment. It should be an easy fix but sometimes life deals you a lemon...
