Question about National Little Tikes Hummer Yellow

1 Answer

Hi, the battery cable end that connects to the hummer broke. The wires snapped due to the kids pulling it apart. Can I solder it back on or do I need to buy a whole new cable. Just replaced the battery(generic 12V)and charger. hate to keep buying new parts. The hummer was purchased in 2008.

You can probably go on and purchase another cable far less than what the stores charge. There is a chance if you solder the wires back together that it can blow the charger completely. Cutting corners is fun, but not when it comes to electronics.

SOURCE: where i can buy charger 12 volt for hummer H2 little tikes 884931120

Someone left a Little Tikes Yellow Hummer by the dumpster. I reeled it in to see what was wrong with it and decided to get a charger for it. I went to Walmart, Battery Source, K-Mart, Target & Toys R Us. None of these places had a charger for it. To get a replacement battery it's $48 plus tax online, or you can order a charger for the battery for $36 online.

99 VW Passat, I am getting no power to the passangers side door. Whin I say no power like to the window motor, power lock, lights on the switches.

check the wire plug in the door there is a black rubber the wires are in there this is a common place for the wires to snap. if the wires are snaked you will need to replace them, you do this by taking out the side part on the A post inside and find the wire loom to the door. peal the seal back over the connector for the door part and cut out the bad wires and solder the new wires in to the connector replace the hole wire into the A post wiring loom. don't just try to fix the broken wires as this will cause wiring problems later. make sure you match each wire to its right color, when finished use some sealant on the plug end to seal your solder points. and insulation tape on the other end to the loom. then reconnect to door and check its working if all working pull the rubber seal back over and put some sealent on the end if it needs it.

Passenger side rear window will not goup,I have had both front wiring harness replaced, pulled rubber boot back it looks like and orange and gray wire are broke, cost me 200.00+ on each front window part was...

If you have already identified the broken wire, get a piece of shrink tubing and slide it on one end, put the wire ends back together and solder them. slide the shrink tube over the repair and heat it up (usually a lighter works fine just don't melt it). After it's working again, send me the extra money
(only kidding) If you aren't good at soldering, practice on another piece of scrap wire before you try it.

Hi, the buzzer on our Operation game doesn't work--we bought it used, and the light works nicely, but even with new batteries, it doesn't buzz. Is there a connection issue? (My husband can probably fix it...

I had the same problem. I ended up pulling out and disassembling the battery housing unit, which also contains the red light and a small motor (which vibrates the board and causes the buzzing sound). The motor seemed to have frozen up, apparently from years of disuse and dust accumulation. After rotating the motor with my hand, it loosened up enough to start working again after I put the batteries back in.

Part 415191 Connection Tail Membrane

We are having the exact same problem with this part! Our oven is a S301T, but it still has the same part number for the tail membrane (touch control).

In FINALLY contacting someone at Thermador we were able to find the following information which might aid you. The part is manufactured by Bosch and according to Appliance, the numbers:
Part Number 415191 Manufacturer's number (Bosch) Part number AP2832583 which replaces the part number originally numbered 14-38-680.

Don't know if this will hasn't helped me so far. Thermador suggested that we go to a site named This site seems to be really messed up because you have to call and leave a message as the site is under construction!

I'm so darn frustrated that I'll never buy a Thermador product again (even thought they are great when they work) Good luck!!

The USB connector broke!

I did the same to the cruzer as tedthehobit, and here's how I fixed it.
1) Split open enclosure with screwdriver alone edge. The small key-ring will come off when enclosure is separated. (Safety glasses, please). Circuit board is attached to plastic base--the piece for sliding the connector.
2) To see amount of damage and trace connection, remove the plastic as follows. Two notches are on each size at socket end. The other end has plastic bar across on-top. Use needle-nose piler to chew away top of notches, slowly and carefully to avoid stressing board and damaging surface. This makes it easier to move the notches to the side to lift the board up and out.
3) Look at pads where socket was attached. Fairly clean break, surrounding circuit trace and pads are intact. So, it is worth to continue.
4) The socket connection side has no large pads to solder wiring. The D+ and D- traces were lifted off slightly, but too thin to attach wire. Look at the other side.
5) Use flashlight as backlight, and follow traces from connector pads to ends of closest chips where it is big enough for soldering. [I have jpg of connection points--where to post it?]
6) Use wire-warp (hair-thin and pre-stripped) wire and small-tipped solder iron and work under bright light. Tin wire with traces of solder and remove excesses solder from iron tip. Connect wire to chip, melting and using the solder already there.
7) Solder other ends of wire to the correct tabs of the usb socket.
8) Plug usb socket into a socket extender to plug into PC. Extender is optional, but it will help to deteach from PC later.
9) Did not work the first time because 5V-line solder at circuit was not good (eventually came off). Re-solder. Plug back into PC, and cruze lit up and PC can access the file.

Changed battery garmin ique no backlight

Most likely you broke one or both wire that supply power to the LCD. There are two ribbon cables to the LCD and two (black, white) wire. The ribbon cable cables supply data signal to the lcd and the smaller cable is the digitizer signal. The power wire (black, white) wires are soldered to the circuit board. And since these are LED lights there is a plus and minus and they have to be soldered correctly.
But before taking apart the IQUE 3600 did you try adjusting the brightness level?
