Maybe the hose is blocked. Take the hose off the supply side, and blow into just enough to add pressure to it and see if that works.

Our HCM-640bw Honeywell humidifier will leak water onto the floor. If I fill the tank and let it sit without turning it on, no leaking. When it runs for about two hours it leaks bad. Any ideas on how to...

Found a hairline crack in the water canister. Had to locate by filling the canister and waiting for a couple of minutes for water droplets to form outside the canister. This ever so slight crack allowed air to enter the chamber and made changes to water dispensing rate which overfilled the resevoir over time ( hours). The cracks were not visible under 10X magnification without the water droplets.

Honeywell HE220A water not reaching humidifier

Replace the Valve on the unit. Check the small filter inside of it where the waterline attaches first. If its clear and you have lots of flow from the 1/4" line the replace the valve.

Honeywell furnace humidifier thermostat & other

sounds like to me you have a condensation pump attached to your hvac system. this can be used to pump water produced during the cooling of your house when in the a/c mode. if you have a typical bypass humidifier, you will have excess water running past the water panel and it must be sent to a drain of some kind. I would imagine the pump is being used to get your bypass water to the drain. another scenario may be that you have a 90% condensing furnace. if your exhaust pipe for the furnace is made out of pcv pipe, it is a condensing gas furnace. it will produce water when it is running. the water if from the combustion gases being condensed in the secondary heat exchanger. this is normal. some condensing gas furnaces will draw combustion air from inside the house and some will have a second pvc pipe that is used to pulll combustion air from the outside of the house. either way, it is not dehumidifying your house. the humidifier should be able to keep up if it is runnng properly. you should have water running out the bottom drain of the humidifier any time the fan on your furnace is running and the humidistat is calling for humidity. if this is not happening, it is not wired properly.

Cleaning water tray

I usually just balance the tray upside down on top of the base and fill the edges with vinegar. You could also put the the tray in a bowl filled with vinegar and submerge the whole thing.

Unit turns off Mid Stream

The part of the machine that draws water up from the bottom, as well as the bottom tray, need to be cleaned from time to time, or it cannot accept water and will indicate the tank is empty. After removing the tank, unlock the top from the bottom by moving the small lever in the area the tank sits, then pull the entire top section off of the bottom tray. Dump the old water out, then put a solution of vinegar and water in the accepting section of the tray. Replace the top and let that set for a few hours to remove buildup. You may need to use a silicone scraper or something if there is significant buildup. Pour out the vinegar solution and rinse all of those sections off with clean water. Replace the top, lock the bar, and return the tank. Your problem should be fixed.
