Its not your BIOS you need to update ... You need to check you have the right drivers for both CD units and you need to check that one drive (End of cable) is master and the other (Middle of cable) Is slave ... After that it should work just fine

Hello,
Unfortunately recovering from bad bios updates isn't something easily done. The Bios chip will need to be reprogrammed. Your best bet is to send it to the manufacture and they will do it.

Dear Friends i have used in gigabyte mother board model no:GA-G41M-ES2L the problem is how i update my bios now is currently used in old version 1.0 but i have to update my bios pls tell me and solve...

you need to flash the bios .

download the new bios from gigabyte website and follow their instructions on how to update bios. be very carefull when doing this because if done incorrectly it would render your motherboard useless permanently .

in my experience if your m/b is working its best not to update the bios only time i would update the bios would be if the new bios update has new features that i really needed . if not i would not really flash the bios .

ASUS P5RD1-VM raid controller

try to find updated drivers from ASUS and see if you also can find a BIOS update. Most times the BIOS update will solve most known issues. OPreferably do it via old-fashioned diskdrive, that is still the most reliable.
