Question about Xerox Phaser 6350DX Laser Printer

Printing Xerox Phaser 6350 without Magenta Toner

Have a Xerox Phaser 6350, and the magenta toner has been empty for a while. Today in the middle of a black and white print job the printer stopped printing, and won't print further because the magenta is empty. I have removed the magenta and shaken it, but it doesn't help. I've turned the printer off and on and tried to reset it. No help. Is there a way to get this printer to print in black and white with an empty magenta cartridge? (the organization can't afford the $200 or so for a new magenta cartrdige at this time).

Xerox phaser 6360 smearing magenta toner only

that's the developer assembly that has gone bad. If you're using 3rd party toner it wears down a lot quicker. You'll need to replace the magenta developer unit, part number is 848K03850.

Magenta cart. wont print

The problem is most likely a bad Image Unit.

Xerox guarantees their supplies to be free from defects as long as their is a life percentage left and will replace it for free.
Take it back to the store you purchased it from and ask for a replacement, or have them request a replacement for you.

If the magenta fails (within 100 pages) after you replace the Image Unit, then your toner dispense mechanism is failing for the magenta toner, and either a dispense motor will need replaced, or the toner auger will need to be unclogged or replaced.

Xerox 6350 prints to much magenta

is it also when you print blank pages after the 25-50 pages? if so it could be the fuser, if not it could be the imaging unit. Check your magenta imaging unit and fuser roller anyway. If any of them is dirty, replace them.

We have a Xerox Phaser 6350 and I was printing some copies today, when I looked over and it stopped printing magenta. So, I replaced the toner cartridge and opened the printer to make sure that everything...

Make sure you turn the printer off and back on a couple times. The fuser is not "hot-swappable"meaning you need to cycle the power for the machine to recognize it. If after doing this and you are confident that the fuser is seated correctly the next step would be to replace the fuser (part# - 115R00035). ItemInc.com has these in stock and ships same day. Hope this helps and thanks for using FixYa!

Phaser 6350 flooded with magenta toner

Problem developers start leaking toner. The problem is that some times the toner spuills into developers below it and damaging them. The problem may appear as a grinding noise that may indicate a developer gear/motor problem, when in fact its a bad developer that is not running smoothly. It may be expensive, and you may have to replace ALL the Developers.

Magenta cartridge empty

When you take the toner cartridge off the imaging unit, is there magenta toner in the open slot of the IU? Assuming that there is nothing wrong with the toner cartridge, you are possibly looking at a bad engine control board.

Replaced Toner and Still Wants it to be replaced

You need to manually reset the CRU counter in the service menu to reset the toner count. This is designed so the xerox tech can come in and get paid for work. What you do is the following:
Enter the service mode by turning the machine off....then hold the (i) button and (<) arrow button simultaniously while turning the machine on. Then go down to nvram access enter menu, then go to CRU menu. Then go to the Toner CRU count menu, then select the toner you wish to reset and allow the machine to reset.
IF you need any parts feel free to come to my store
