Nsm firebird The number 0 on the keypad for selecting songs doesn't work. Can only play songs without zeroes in them. Is there a way to clean the keypad so the keypad will work properly?

Lol..james, press 10+ and manually input the exact number where the song you wished to perform into. but i can't imagine you inputting 10 manually where your cd player is able to scan the disc content up to 20 whenever is needed.

SOURCE: NSM Grand Performer II Jukebox error code 31

Hi

This is a problem with the memory. Contact nsm music and ask for the IC5 battery, £35. " 2 minute job, open the jukebox, immiediatly in front of you on the main board, look for IC5, The battery is directly under the writing. A black battery about 2" in length. Replace that power up and your done. A jukebox repair will charge you some riddiculous price for this. hope this helps cheers dandares

Hi I have a NSM lightning 2000 How can I set it up to play a full cd and the number 4 doesn't register

To set up your NSM Lightning 2000 to play a full CD, you need to follow these steps:
  1. Turn on the jukebox and select the CD mode.
  2. Open the CD compartment and insert the CD you want to play.
  3. Close the compartment and wait for the jukebox to read the CD.
  4. Once the jukebox has read the CD, use the selection buttons to choose the track you want to play.
If the number 4 button on your jukebox is not registering, there may be an issue with the button itself or the wiring connected to it. You can try cleaning the button and the surrounding area to see if that helps. If that doesn't work, you may need to have the jukebox serviced by a professional technician.

Nsm performer classic

If your NSM Performer Classic jukebox is not accepting money and playing music, there could be a few different issues that could be causing this problem. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Check the coin mechanism: Make sure the coin mechanism is clean and in good working order, and that the coin chute is not blocked.
  2. Check the bill acceptor: Make sure the bill acceptor is clean and in good working order, and that the bill path is not blocked.
  3. Check the credit display: Make sure the credit display is working properly and that it is displaying the correct amount of credits.
  4. Check the software: Make sure the software on the jukebox is up to date and that there are no errors.
  5. Check the selection buttons: Make sure the selection buttons are working properly and that the jukebox is able to receive selection inputs
  6. Check the amplifier and speaker: Make sure the amplifier and speaker are working properly and that the jukebox is producing sound.
If none of these steps resolves the issue, it is possible that the jukebox may be defective and require repair or replacement. In that case, contact NSM customer support for further assistance.

I have a 1971 seeburg firestar jukebox - the zero (0) does not seem to work when you punch in the 3 numbers for the selection - so none of my selections that have zero in it do not play - also I do not...

Same key that operates the locks on the sides unlocks the top, but top might be sticky. Push down on it.
Order keys if you don't have them. It's key F291. GOOD locksmith can make it or order one off eBay.
Your jukebox is a USC2. Use that model number as a reference.
Keypad "0" contacts are probably dirty or broken, or the connectors to the keyboard or black and gray boxes might be loose or need cleaning. Circuit board might be dirty (YES! This is a common Seeburg issue). To clean it of check for broken contacts on the "0" key, you'll have to remove it and open it up. Putting it back together can be tricky. Be patient.
Worst case, you can install a replacement keyboard.

If you have someone come out, be SURE to have them give the jukebox a good lubrication. Seeburgs are complicated machines and need periodic lubrication.

Also, buy a manual. Jukebox repairmen don't usually have the manuals for your jukebox. Too many.

NSM-3DX Model: 8250

For the model is, too often I see these problems arising from damage ic, most of which I see, the problem related to dropping out of the circuit or not connected. I usually use a microscope to see where the location of the circuit is broken. Without a microscope you can also search for the cause, you can use a multimeter, for keypad, I would prefer to name row and colum circuit, with a multimeter you try to check whether each gold pad keypad that is, whether among advanced, do a test by touching the pad outside the gold gold pads on each keypad problem. Because the outside, we call the vertical line, and it is connected between 2,5,8,0. horizontal lines between 1,2,3, and 3 if a problem does not it mean not to disturb the horizontal lines, clean the surface of the gold pad keypads using the eraser, and if the phone has entered the water, which causes the circuit is broken. If you make a Jumper keypad surface area, not too heavy or large, as this may disturb or cause it to function without you pressing the keypad.
