If you can hear your pump engaging then there is a clog going either to or from the pump. Often loose change will cover the drain hole in your tub and get stuck there. There are several videos on YouTube that can walk you through the process of removing your tub, and it only requires a ratchet and a little patience. It will be a bit difficult the first time, but after that it is a piece of cake!

A temporary fix that often gets you up and running is to take a vacuum and change the hoses so it blows air out instead of sucking it in. Then take your drain line that dumps the water into the drain in the wall of your house and shoot the air into it. This will often dislodge the foreign matter stuck in the drain long enough to finish a couple of loads. That being said, you will still need to remove either the tub or the drain pump to finish the repair eventually.

It is possible that the dispenser is leaking. It is typically the left front dispenser, you may notice a puddle on the left side. ???

SOURCE: washer won't drain after rinse cycle

If you lay the drain hose down into a bucket does water come out fairly quickly?

If so then it is not a blockage

You may have a coin or other small object in the pump which stops the impeller turning so no pumping action

Only solution is to check if the pump is free to turn either via the filter opening or taking the back panel off (Remove power before doing so ) and turning the pump by hand (there will be a fan blade on the end which is connected directly to the impeller.

If that will not turn very easily then you need to take off the hoses and check what is happening with the pump unit

SOURCE: cabrio washer wont drain

I had a very similar problem. The washer did not drain anymore and the agitator did not move or very slowly. What I found after removing the back panel and could see the plastic tub, was that a pillow case was clogging the drain. I had to remove the agitator and was able to pull out the pillow case through the slots of the tub. It seems hard to believ that a pillow case would migrate through the small gap of the agitator and tub and then through the slots into the drain cavity but that is what I found. After that removal, the washer worked fine again. Hope that helps.

Kenmore 2600 TOP LOADER smells like Mildew. I can hear water sloshing around under drum. Is that Normal?

The drain on all washers have this issue. Unless the drain hose runs down hill, when the pump stops, water runs back into the machine that was in the hose but was not drained.

The washer will not drain. It goes through all the cycles, fills with water, washes, but when it gets to any of the spin cycles, it stops. The hose going to the drain is NOT clogged.

This is almost certainly a simple problem with your empty pump filter being clogged. The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum.
You need to locate and clean the filter. Depending on the model (not familiar which with the model you mention) there is probably a round filter cap on the front of the machine at the bottom (It may be behind a small door or hidden behind a clip on panel on the bottom)

Top loader washer isn't running threw all the cycles. Drum stays full of water

Probably needs a timer but without a model number, it is only a guess as it could be a motor coupler if it only drains.

What causes Cabrio washer to get unbalanced in spin cycle?

Try making sure that your draining hose isnt jammed all the way down the hole. When you installed it the u shaped accessory was needed for the draining hose. Try pulling the draining hose out...curve the front and zip tying it to your cold water valve. This will allow it to drain properly and not get water push back into the drum causing it to be unlevel

Whirpool cabrio won't spin cycle

I just paid $85.00 for a tech to come out and pull some socks out that got stuck between washer drum and outside plastic drum. It took 10 mins. top.
It seems when you pull clothes out of washer small items slip between inner and outer drums. BAD DESIGN.

Water fills drum (top loader) even when off

Your problem is a jammed water solenoid, If you take the top off the machine it is possible to remove and either strip it down to see if it is dirty or replace it. your washer hose usually connects directly to it.

It sound like you drain hose is siphoning off the rinse water, It needs a standpipe make sure the drain hose is at about the height of the top of the washer, Make sure the drain hose isnt stuck in the drain it also needs an air cap. the drain hose should not lay on the floor to run to the drain

Please let me know if this doesnt solve your problems
