Question about Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer
If you can hear your pump engaging then there is a clog going either to or from the pump. Often loose change will cover the drain hole in your tub and get stuck there. There are several videos on YouTube that can walk you through the process of removing your tub, and it only requires a ratchet and a little patience. It will be a bit difficult the first time, but after that it is a piece of cake!

It is possible that the dispenser is leaking. It is typically the left front dispenser, you may notice a puddle on the left side. ???

If you lay the drain hose down into a bucket does water come out fairly quickly?
If so then it is not a blockage
You may have a coin or other small object in the pump which stops the impeller turning so no pumping action
Only solution is to check if the pump is free to turn either via the filter opening or taking the back panel off (Remove power before doing so ) and turning the pump by hand (there will be a fan blade on the end which is connected directly to the impeller.
If that will not turn very easily then you need to take off the hoses and check what is happening with the pump unit

SOURCE: cabrio washer wont drain
I had a very similar problem. The washer did not drain anymore and the agitator did not move or very slowly. What I found after removing the back panel and could see the plastic tub, was that a pillow case was clogging the drain. I had to remove the agitator and was able to pull out the pillow case through the slots of the tub. It seems hard to believ that a pillow case would migrate through the small gap of the agitator and tub and then through the slots into the drain cavity but that is what I found. After that removal, the washer worked fine again. Hope that helps.
