Has it been unused for a long time? May have 'gummed' up.
If so, try using a little INNOX. Not WD40, CRC etc - only Innox.

My machine wont make stitches . What could be wrong ?

We don't have much information to go on, like how is it not stitching. Is the machine actually functioning (needle going up & down, feed dogs moving, is the motor working, is it acting like it's stitching but the threads are not forming a stitch?)

I have a bernina artista 640 and the material is not moving i tried on plain stich with the 1 c also

the feed dogs need to be checked on the machine, they are the ones that move the fabric thru the machine.

My Bernana Artista 640 will sew 15 or so stitches while embroidering and then stops or the thread breaks. What can I do?

Make sure your needle is inserted into the machine correctly
It could be the design with the density of stitches is too high.

How do i get a straight stitch on my golden touch & sew model 640 machine

Check for diagrams on the selector wheel and then adjust your stitch length. Do not set to tight as your thread will break

I have a Hyundai 60 stitch sewing machine, the needle snapped so I replaced it now it won't stitch! I have changed bobbin, tension, tried different stitches but it still won't stitch! It's...

Take the needle out and put it back in carefully. If that doesn't solve the prob, replace it with another needle, and hopefully it will return to working.

Serger won't chain off a stitch. Stitches won't chain and hold to fabric. Added new needle, rethreaded whole machine. Stitches won't connect to fabric or make a chain.

is it possible that the needles are in backwards?
it's very possible that the machine is out of time & would have to be taken to a sewing machine repair shop to be retimed

How to find out usage on my Bernina 640 w/embroidery

For a 640: Make sure the machine is off then Press the reverse button and the needle up/down button at the same time and keep pressing while turning on the machine until the service screen come up. Select the "i" icon and then the icon that has a picture with the clock and a question mark. That will show you the hours and stitch count used. To exit the service program just turn off the machine.

Unbalanced lower tension when using BSR free motion quilting

try using a straight stitch plate, this will help resolve some of the eye lash effect.
