Aircon comes on when engine under up a hill, even though it is off on the dash

Your vacuum mode control switch is either leaking in the AC control panel (on the dash) or the switch is getting a low vacuum signal due to a pinched vacuum hose or defective vacuum line or vacuum storage canister under the hood..

How to install split type aircon?

Plan the location of your outdoor and indoor unit. Make openings for the pipes and wiring's that should be accessible for repairs or maintenance. Never place the condenser near the walls, and follow the allowable clearance from the walls. Same thing follows for the indoor unit make allowance from the ceiling and it should be tilted to drain the water from the drain pan. Make the piping and wiring connection following the suppliers recommendations. Drain pipe should be lower than the wiring installation. Do not use seal tape for threaded connection, only apply refrigerant oil and tighten all nuts. Leak test or vacuum the lines from the valve fittings outside the condenser to the evaporator( in and out of the evaporator ). If vacuum or pressure stays unchanged for an hour, there is no leakage. If you applied vacuum, just fully open the service valves. If you pressure test the line with Nitrogen, release Nitrogen gas by loosening a little the bigger pipe nut from the condenser until no pressure comes out. Then open the small service valve from the condenser a little until pure freon comes out of the loosen big nut and then tighten it. Full open all service valves and unit is now available for operation with power supply.

My 1996 nissan lec engine shuts down when the aircon is turned on, i already tried adjusting the idle. the aircon functions at high rpm. can you suggest a solution.

Check the a/c actuator, round metal with rod at the bottom, vacuum hose at the side. Located beside the carburetor.
When you turn on the A/C it will push the idle up( via vacuum system ). It has an adjuster at the top to set the right rpm of your engine.
Test also the vacuum hoses and A/C vacuum switch, just follow that black 1/4" dia. hose( vacuum hose ) and check the system.
If you have no idea on repairing the vacuums and the actuator, my suggestion would be to bring your car to the nearest A/C technician to have him repair it.
Thanks for asking FixYa!

Where do I put the clean water at and the cleaning solutions

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. I am not sure what type or brand name for the type of scrubbing unit you have , but the clean water and the cleaning solution generally go into the same container and then it will release onto the carpet or floor.

So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

The dial regulating suction does not seam to work the vacuum works constantly on the full power and the light indicating overheating stays on.

The dial regulating suction does not seam to work the vacuum works constantly on the full power and the light indicating overheating stays on.

This would depend on the brand and model number you have – without knowing the model or brand of vacuum you have it would be hard to give an accurate answer – the over heating light could indicate some type of clog or blockage and may have nothing to do with the dial to regulate the suction – that merely is a height adjustment …. As this does happen to most vacuums that the overheating light comes on – if there is no problem have it looked at from your local vacuum dealer or repair shop would be the best advice that I could give you.
