CDP CX 400 When I put on shuffle All Discs, it will work playing CDs/tracks randomly, but then the carousel will start to rotate back and forth and will no longer play any tracks.

Hi John Crimmins, it is very possible that the carousel behaves that way, because when it stops and the reader system has to be coupled to read the CD, it fails to do so, then again it changes
Usually this fault is due to some loose belt in the mechanism of the carousel and reader elevator
Replace the straps and comment

Cd-rw890 wont play all tracks on cd

if its just that cd it could be damaged or if it does it to all cds then it could be the laser disc reader needs cleaning or the little motor that runs the gears maybe full of dirt or dust.

CD player continues to attempt to eject/read CD even when unit is off?

These unit's have that problem. It is the reader inside of the deck, you can try cleaning it, but this is usually why they are replaced. Also the mode switch that activates the radio part will not change because it is telling the unit it is in CD and keeps searching for a disc. GM has the same problem, because they are also using the same kind of decks on the inside. Did it ever play a disc for you? The track that holds the CD inside may have been damaged by an accident, and it has fallen off the track, this could be fixed, it is just finding someone honest enough to do it, without "stealing" your time and money. I am sure you have tried to hit the eject button. Insert a disc(one you don't care about)and see if it will play. If it ejects it then you will know it is the track. Because it can not find the mode for play. Goodluck

I have a Phillips CDR 775 2 -disc cd recorder and my track time is automatically set to 20 seconds. How do I increase this time per track? Also, I cannot seem to get the auto track to work when...

It's all in the manual...

20 seconds is the amount of digital 'silence' the machine will let pass during recording before it marks a new track. t will Pause and wait one minute for a digital signal to resume. (Page 21)

On digital copying it will automatically increment track numbers as the source advances.

For analog sources you should switch Auto Track to OFF and manually press Track as applicable. (Page 28)

My Honda accord Sedan car CD Player cannot eject CD .

Before connecting any cables you must set the dip switch box to the position listed for your vehicle. If you set the dip-switches after you have connected cables to the box, you must disconnect and reconnect them for the changer to operate. All 1992-2004 Honda's are compatible with the Neo Changer except the 2003 and 2004 Honda Accord and all Honda Element vehicles. Some radio models require pressing "Seek >" once to start playing after changing CD or after startup. The radios display will not show the proper disc number after disc six. You can use all 10 discs in the magazine, but the readout will be wrong. This is not a technical problem; the car stereo was designed for no more than six discs. *Due to the direct access disc system, you will not be able to directly access discs 7-10. To access these discs you will have to go to the last track on disc 6 and let it play until it loads disc #7. ( you can fast forward the track, but you must let it play the last 5 seconds of the track, for it to change to disc # 7 Switch to the Neo Changer by pressing the "CD" button. To change discs press "Disc -" and "Disc +" To change tracks simply press "Seek <" or "Seek >" S E T T I N G S F O R H O N D A 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ON OFF OFF ON OFF OFF ON OFF
