There are 5 grams in 1 teaspoon. A 1/4 teaspoon should be 1.25 grams.

SOURCE: convert 0.4mg to grams convert 0.12mg

There are one thousand milligrams (mg) in one gram. Thus 0.4mg / 1000 = 0.0004g
You can do the others the same way.

SOURCE: how many teaspoons in 1

Teaspoon is a measure of volume while gram is a measure of mass, so there is no direct conversion. A teaspoon of water will mass about 5 grams, while a teaspoon of gold will mass quite a bit more.

It's really difficult to find a converter for grams and teaspoons because they're two different types of measurements -- one is mass and one is volume. If you don't need to be too specific, you can get a general idea of how grams compare to teaspoons (and other units as well) by using this metric conversion calculator from our About.com Southern Food Expert.

Convert grams to teaspoon

Gram is a unit of mass. Teaspoon is a unit of volume. The conversion between them depends on the density of the substance.
One teaspoon of water weighs about 4.93 grams, so one gram of water is about 0.203 teaspoons. One teaspoon of mercury weighs about 66.7 grams, so one gram of mercury is about 0.0150 teaspoons.
