Please try install XP SP3 in safe mode. Then check whether you have the latest Graphics Card Driver. It seems like some driver issue as it reboots only in Normal mode. Since safe mode runs on minimalset of hardware drivers.
Secondly, there may be a corrupt file that caused reboot. Spend a night and schedule bad sector check - Right click on system drive, Tools tab, Error Checking -> Check Now, tick both boxes then Start. It will schedule scan on next reboot. Then reboot to confirm it starts checking HD.

My window xp2 is not installing window installer 3.1 help me

Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable supports Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 or later, Windows XP, Windows XP Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Server 2003. Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 contains Windows Installer 3.1 and therefore can't be installed or upgraded by this redistributable.

Read the above, Windows Installer 3.1 already in in SP2. Why do you need to install it?

How to installation windows xp in hindi lenguage with picture

  1. Step 1 Open Windows Update (located in the Windows XP Control Panel), and see if SP2 is on the list of available updates. If you don't have Windows Update installed or turned on, visit the Windows Update website in order to get the latest Windows Update software.
  2. Step 2 Select the Windows XP SP2 item from the list of available updates, and click the "Install" button. Windows Update will begin downloading Service Pack 2 (a process that may take up to 20 minutes or longer, depending on how fast your Internet connectionmag-glass_10x10.gif is), and will then launch the installation program once downloading is complete.
  3. Step 3 Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Windows XP Service Pack 2 installation. You will be asked to accept the terms of the licensing agreement before the actual installation takes place. Installation may take up to 20 or 30 minutes, after which you will be required to reboot your computer in order for the changes to the operating system to take effect.
  4. Step 4 Should you have problems installing XP Service Pack 2 through Windows Update, download the stand-alone executable from Microsoft in order to install the software update manually. The Service Pack executable is designed to make it easier for IT professionals to update multiple computers without having to download the Service Pack onto each one. Run the installer program once you've finished downloading it, and follow the on-screen instructions as mentioned above.

My system restart problem

Sounds like a hardware or heat issue. In safe mode your computer is using just minimum resources. Check the temp of your processor, and make sure all cooling fans are running. You can enter bios and check hardware monitor to see the temps.

I rebooted my operating system windows xp-sp2.now in my leptop the com port is not showing.instead of this only bluetooth port is detecting .how i will solve this problem??

I would suggest that you run diagnostics on your pc to isolate the issue and identify if it is caused by a hardware failure or caused by a software glitch on the system.

You can also try to repair the OS if the problem lies within the platform itself.

Please follow instructions indicated herein....

XP REPAIR INSTALL

1. Boot the computer using the XP CD. You may need to change the
boot order in the system BIOS. Check your system documentation
for steps to access the BIOS and change the boot order.

2. When you see the "Welcome To Setup" screen, you will see the
options below This portion of the Setup program prepares Microsoft
Windows XP to run on your computer:

To setup Windows XP now, press ENTER.

To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console, press R.

To quit Setup without installing Windows XP, press F3.

3. Press Enter to start the Windows Setup.
do not choose "To repair a Windows XP installation using the
Recovery Console, press R", (you do not want to load Recovery
Console). I repeat, do not choose "To repair a Windows XP
installation using the Recovery Console, press R".
4. Accept the License Agreement and Windows will search for existing
Windows installations.
5. Select the XP installation you want to repair from the list and
press R to start the repair. If Repair is not one of the options,
read Warning #2 below!!
6. Setup will copy the necessary files to the hard drive and reboot.
Do not press any key to boot from CD when the message appears.
Setup will continue as if it were doing a clean install, but your
applications and settings will remain intact.

Blaster worm warning: Do not immediately activate over the internet
when asked, enable the XP firewall
before connecting to the internet. You can activate after the
firewall is enabled. Control Panel - Network Connections. Right click
the connection you use, Properties, and there is a check box on the
Advanced [ http://michaelstevenstech.com/xpfirewall1.jpg ] page.

7. Reapply updates or service packs applied since initial Windows XP
installation. Please note that a Repair Install using an Original
pre service pack 1 or 2 XP CD used as the install media will remove
SP1/SP2 respectively and service packs plus updates isssued after the
service packs will need to be reapplied.
