Where can i obtain a realistic 32-1200 manual for free? or what does cera and mag on the back of the mixer mean?

In reference to the question -
" what does cera and mag on the back of the mixer mean? "
these jacks are for the input of phonograph record cartridge signals.
Phonograph cartridges are of two types -
1. "Cera"mic (ceramic) cartridges generate their signal using a ceramic crystal which provides almost 1/2 a volt of current.
2. "Mag"netic (magnetic) cartridges generate a more accurate signal than a ceramic cartridge but the magnetic cartridge generates its signal using a moving-magnet mechanism (rather than a ceramic crystal) and the magnetic cartridge generates much less current than a ceramic cartridge, so its signal needs a lot more amplification than a ceramic crystal's output. So the two jacks on the back of the mixer provide different levels of amplification for the phono cartridges, less amplification for a ceramic cartridge and more amplification for a magnetic cartridge.
Since few people play phonograph records any more it is understandable that the public has little knowledge of the differences between ceramic and magnetic cartridges. But each have their own benefits and usually ceramic cartridges are cheaper than magnetic cartridges simply because it takes a lot more sophisticated manufacturing technology to make a magnetic cartridge, though magnetics are usually preferred over ceramics because of their more accurate generation of a signal from the wiggling groove in a phonograph record. But for those who can hear, the complete sound signal from a phonograph record is much preferred over the dead and dry sampled sound from a digital CD. And the old 1/4" reel-to-reel tape recordings are the highest sound quality of all because they are direct copies of the original magnetic tape masters with no digitizing at all. The fullness of their sound is astounding compared to any digitized signal..
A mag input is down at the mic level.
A ceramic input is almost up at the line level.

Fuse blown on Europower PMP 3000. Where can I find a 10 Amp 250 V ceramic replacement fuse?

You don't need to use a ceramic fuse if one's not available. You can also use a glass cartridge fuse as well. Just be sure the rating is the same. Be aware, though, that fuses seldom blow on their own. Usually it's because something else has shorted. So don't be surprised if replacing the fuse only results in another blown fuse. Behringer stuff is notoriously cheap and under-protected, so by the time the fuse blows it's usually more trouble than it's worth trying to fix. But maybe you'll be lucky and it will be something simple. Good luck, and thanks for using Fixya!

My ac/heater stopped working yesterday (2004 Honda Accord EX). I've read posting relating to the blower motor as the possible cause. I'm not sure which fuse controls this. I wanted to check this first....

Yes, I would check the 40A fuse for 'Heater Motor' but there may be another fuse under the dash that controls the ac/heater.

I would get a fuse tester from Walmart or a parts store included with a set of various fuses.

The fuse tester can be used to quickly test all of the fuses in a particular box in maybe 5 minutes of your time.

It's like a miniature test light that goes on when an energized fuse has a break in it. This saves a lot of time and the risk of putting the fuse back where it does not belong.
---
Inspect/Test/Replace There are three basic types of fuses in automotive use: blade, ceramic, and cartridge.
f14-353184.jpg Blade fuse, ceramic fuse, and cartridge fuse.
Occasional fuse failure can be due to a defective fuse. Corrosion on the end of the fuse can cause failure too.
The cartridge fuse is found on most older domestic cars and a few imports. To check this type of fuse, look for a break in the internal metal strip. Discoloration of the glass cover or glue bubbling around the metal end caps is an indication of overheating.
Late-model domestic vehicles and many imports use blade or spade fuses. To check the fuse, pull it from the fuse panel and look at the fuse element through the transparent plastic housing. Look for internal breaks and discoloration.
The ceramic fuse is used on many European imports. The core is a ceramic insulator with a conductive metal strip along one side. To check this type of fuse, look for a break in the contact strip on the outside of the fuse.
A visual check of the fuses in questions can sometimes show a burned fuse. Sometimes, a fuse can blow where it cannot be seen.
f37-193184.gif Test a questionable fuse with an ohmmeter.
All types of fuses can be checked with an ohmmeter or test light. if the fuse is good, there will be continuity through it.
When inspecting fuses, also inspect the fuse link:
  • Fuse link wire is covered with insulation that bubbles if a fuse link melts.
  • The blisters on the insulation indicate the failure in the fuse link.
  • If the insulation appears good, pull lightly on the wire.
  • If the link stretches, the wire has melted.
  • Of course, when it is hard to determine if the fuse link is burned out, check for continuity through the link with a testlight or ohmmeter.

Ceramic fuses of 15A or 20A rating are available at home improvement stores like Lowe's, places like Wal-Mart and local appliance stores.

Ceramic fuses are preferred because they are considered flameproof.
