Question about Televison & Video
Cannot get Remote to work properly. Only able to turn volume up and down. Believe I inadvertently caused problem by using a different type of Universal Remote. Is there a way to reset the unit to a factory setting?
If you wish to bring the TV to its factory reset, you have to enter into its service mode option. You will get this facility by its service mode option only. But, you must have its original remote control to enter into its service mode. No universal remote will go. If you wish to get more details about how to enter, adjust and exit service mode, check the site linked here. Never attempt to experiment to get into the service mode, with a universal remote control. It will surely make some other trouble to the set. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Time slide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I would call or email in to logitech and suggest that they copy some of the learned commands for your bose system into your harmony remote account.
The commands they add are learned from other customers and they will only copy the best ones. Give it a shot.
